No he actually sprained his ankle pretty badly during rehersal for that particular show. If you watch him get his first award that night he goes up the stairs on crutches then explains what happened.

The man was Just a man. And whatever his sins am not casting stones- I am just acknowledging his flaws. He wasn't a saint. A true fan would treat him as a mortal.

the least know Michael Jackson song..hands down..but its my favorite song ever! i just love the beginning where the snare and bass come in with the claves..that makes me dance right there..all of Michaels songs could be #1's..they all have that potential and his Bad album i still think was underated..i think that maybe not surprass Thriller but still be up there with it..but its fyne..i just love this song..and Superfly Sister..and Dangerous..those are my top 3 songs..

yeah...he had like almost no time at all...because not only that..he had to do that "ET storybook" thing with Steven Spielburg...remember?..and that took up almost more than half the time...and when he listened to the first finshed copy of "Thriller"..remember he said that he hated it..and nothing was mixed correctly and songs were overlapping..then he didnt have much time to re-mix them to get them perfect..yeah Thriller had all good songs..but with the amount of time he had..he got lucky..lol

yea thriller was originally going to be called starlight love so instead of saying "thriller! thriller night!" it would have been "starlight! starlight love!" good choice mike and i agree he did get lucky like when he recorded billie jean, he did the whole thing in one take, that's amazing
