If the intended victim thereafter does not mimic the promoted worldview, it is due to "stubbornness" or "petulance". At no time during this sales pitch are dissenting viewpoints so much as considered.

More importantly those views are based (agree or disagree with the views) on a strong understanding of matters on which he is commenting. Hell, he has been on OReilly's show more than once.

US news services have been steadily decreasing in quality, a bad thing made worse because they weren't all that good to begin with. Contrary to Jon Stewart's claims on Crossfire, he is more of an extreme example of what's wrong with our talking heads rather than a solution to them.

It is up to private citizens to spend their money. If you feel morally obligated to help, then donate to charity. Don't have the government take peoples money via taxes, and give to others.
