I have a question. I am still preop and I have a machine kinda like yours. Does it help alot to let it sit to let the frothiness go down? It makes me burp now, I am afraid of what will happen Post-op. Thanks for the shake tip
@mypombella yes, you have to let it sit. Any blender is going to do it, it is all the 'air' that is put into the drink. Sometimes I let it sit..sometimes I just put up with the burping. The good thing about the Nectars is that you can put the mix in a shaker cup with water, and just shake, and it taste fine, just not frothy. Not many other protein shakes can do that which is why I got hooked. I still carry 'baggies' of Nectar mix with me in case I am on the road - add water in a shaker.
I do the same thing only instead of flavoring i use real fruit (1/2 banana, blueberries etc) and i take vitamins and add them, split the capsules, vit b complex and my biotin. Also i sprinkle flax seed into it and some cinnamon as it is supposed to enhance our metabolism.=D

@tryshh I use to do the putting pills in early on, but now the swallowing doesn't bother me. I love flax seed, but in the shakes it always turn them kinda 'seedy' and I didn't like the consistency. I make a cinnamon and vanilla without the hazelnut some mornings, haven't tried mixing them, but may one morning. I also have a great recipe using the cappuchino flavor Nectar. It is on a previous video.
