So the bailouts cause the value of the dollar to go down. It makes NO SENSE to bailout people who were incapable of running a company, and it goes against living in a free market. Nobody should support bailouts!

Well, I'm neither liberal or conservative. I'm a moderate Democrat. John McCain voted with the president 90% of the time. When President Bush proposed to go to Iraq it wasn't exactly bipartisan. Democrats were split on going. Besides I know back when the Democratic party started they were conservative and the Republicans were liberal back during the days of slavery.

I would consider myself fiscally conservative but socially liberal (except I support the 2nd Amendment). I guess I'm kind of a libertarian with a lower-case "L". I would say going to Iraq was bipartisan, and I don't care that the Bush Administration lied about Iraq having WMA's b/c there were people with decency like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich who voted against it based on the legalities of the Constitution. Breaking away from the Constitution is the real reason this country has gone to shit.

Voting for or against a war doesn't make you conservative or liberal, regardless of what the majority of the people in your party voted for. Spending $1 trillion/year on war is liberal spending. Spending $50 billion/year on the ever failing war on drugs is liberal spending and big govt. Restricted as in we only learn what ever the government curriculum wants us to learn. We never learned about Spanish Christian missionaries hanging Native Americans in groups of 13 in honor of Jesus and the 12 apostles if they refused to convert to Christianity in school. We get taught about Pearl Harbor but they leave out the part about the US sinking Japanese ships before Pearl Harbor. We dont get taught how we helped overthrow the Iranian govt in 1953. The stuff left out of text books...

But Clinton IS responsible for the mortgage crisis. His philosophy of "everybody should have a house" made banks give sub-prime loans to people who didnt qualify for loans. They couldnt pay them back, lost their houses, and banks lost money.

Ron Paul's financial adviser, Peter Schiff, predicted the mortgage crisis back when Clinton was in office during the housing boom and people laughed at him. It's not hard to understand how sub-prime lending would be a problem for people who didn't qualify for loans in the first place. The $700 billion bailout was the RESULT of the mortgage crisis, not the cause of it. The bailouts are making things a lot worse. The bailouts cause inflation b/c the Fed is printing up the money to pay for it. We obviously dont have the money since we're in over $10 trillion of debt. So the bailouts cause the value of the dollar to go down. It makes NO SENSE to bailout people who were incapable of running a company, and it goes against living in a free market. Nobody should support bailouts!
