A cutscene with Tim (only if he's in town) that ends with getting a Power Berry. Also, if you bring your Hoe, there's a lot of hidden money in the ground on Floor 100, which is good for getting the Lucky Note.

Saibara never actually sells any items at his atelier. However, if you befriend him to 2 hearts and 5 hearts, respectively, you can trigger two different scenes in which he gives you the Aging Pot and the Mixing Pot, which can be used for recipes.

Also, Lyla sells vases and stuff at her "Hearty<3Lyla" shop. I don't know whether it's supposed to be implied or not that Saibara is the one who made them. But in any case, you can buy them and put them around your house for decoration.

You also need to have shipped 10 Good Clay (or was it 9...) in order to trigger the scenes. Have you done that? You can find Good Clay by using your Hoe in the mines, although I assume you already knew that, as it's probably what you gave Saibara to raise his hearts so high. xP
