The movie was amazing..except one thing: Rupert Friend. I'm really sorry to all of you out there who liked him in the movie, but for me, he ruined it. Completely. Why? Not that he is not a good actor or anything like that, but his "chemistry" with the talented Michelle Pfeiffer was disastous. They looked like a diva and a junkie. Really bad casting. Couldn't they found someone like Jude Law? He would have been more suitable(and matchable).

The movie was a bit of a disappointment in terms of plot/story! It's undeniable though that Michelle is gorgeous in her 50's. The scenes and costumes were indeed beautiful!!

Honestly disappointed me. I was expecting something more but it turned out to be more about the costumes and scenes rather than the actual script. And MP turned out to be not that oscar-worthy. But it's very fun and RF is very charming.
