Please see my own videos on global warming for a very simple example of why even if both the highs & the lows decreased forever, that would not contradict GW. You can't just arbitrarily pick points on the temp vs time graph and make conclusions. You need to look at causes. Global climate scientists have done this, and combined the observed data with massive computer models that incorporate conservation laws (mass, momentum, energy). Deniers have not done that.

As for turning down the earth temperature, I'm thinking the world may be better off being a little warmer then being cooler. Warmer temperatures would increase food production. Overall cooling would decrease available agriculture areas and shorten growing seasons.

Higher temperatures place additional water / mineral stress in crops, areas often with lowering water tables. Bloom cycles are also adversely affected, as faster growth affects trace nutrients. Plants begin to limit photosynthetic function from 90F upwards, shutting down at 100F.

We already have a bubble economy as far as food and fuel is concerned - higher temps can only cause problems.
