But for the discussion which game's better: I don't think you can compare two games which have so big differences... Halo is science fiction and kinda unreal, and Battlefield is a war simulation... nearly realistic. Two totally different games.

Halo is the first game I've played that gives a personality to a hero who's face you can't see. The Master Chief is the hero gamers want to be, even if they play Halo or not. His is the face of X-Box...

If you ask me, I would say the majority of gamers would probably be on console when it comes to Call of Duty, but I'm not saying PC gamers aren't a majority, but considering the fact with all these new consoles coming out and such, the PC community has decreased, me myself consider myself being a PC gamer, they are much more advanced than any console plus more memory, I am a Mac sad to say :( but that's a different story

@waldoman7, well like in terms of trying to survive COD is harder because see in Halo you get energy shields which if you get shot it tells you where the other person is, and then in COD if you get shot once you basically die, but i prefer Halo because of its storyline, and that they don't rush the campaign or come up with an entirely new story every game that gives you a huge headache, I would say the best call of duty game was Call of Duty 3 because of the storyline, COD relies on multiplayer
@abspartanlaser Halo is harder in my opinion, because i found CoD completely easy, while in Halo, although you get a Shield, your enemies do, too, and their shields are 20x as poweful as yours on Legendary. Plus, it's easy for them to one shot you on Legendary, too.

why don't we stop comparing Halo and CoD in the first place? They are different games, with really very little in common. halo jumpstarted the xbox, then Infinity Ward released Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare on the 360 and got really, really popular, but if Halo wouldn't have been made, the xbox would have failed and there would be no 360 and no call of duty 4

I'm no CoD fan but that's a bit off. It was Medal of Honor that created CoD. The whole Allied Assault team (2015) left EA and formed Infinity Ward and made the spiritual successor to Medal of Honor as a PC exclusive title. The original was MASSIVE online on the PC. Probably because it's the only good game in the series.

MW2 is the only recent CoD game i've played, and it is far more strategic and challenging than halo for multiplayer.

While Halo is amazing, it did not jump start the Xbox. Games like Doom 3, Quake 4, and Area 51 (in my opinion) made the Xbox something that everyone wanted to play, and of course in innovation of online multiplayer. While Halo was definitely a factor in making the Xbox amazing, it was not the only thing.

Why cant Halo and cod get along? they are very different. CoD is much more hardcore, but halo is altogether more polished and is strong in EVERY detail. Its hard to compare them. I personally prefer halo, but i will gladly play cod too.

@TheAceofOcea I agree, I bought B.OPS, played the Campaign then hit XBL on Reach, and there was no kids!! i could finally play Reach without a annoying kid, but i then put in CoD B.OPS, and just about every 1 in 5 people playing were kids and they all screamed when i killed them. So after 4 hours, i reverted back to Reach, then onto Halo 3 where i found that people that appreciate it for the game it is, were playing, i had some good matches from then on.

I'm no CoD fan but that's a bit off. It was Medal of Honor that created CoD. The whole Allied Assault team (2015) left EA and formed Infinity Ward and made the spiritual successor to Medal of Honor as a PC exclusive title. The original was MASSIVE online on the PC. Probably because it's the only good game in the series.

MW2 is the only recent CoD game i've played, and it is far more strategic and challenging than halo for multiplayer.
but, the level editor makes halo 1000 games in one so...it owns all.

@abspartanlaser Don't get me wrong, I love Halo, but that statement is so incorrect that it proves you really have no idea what you are talking about. While Halo is amazing, it did not jump start the Xbox. Games like Doom 3, Quake 4, and Area 51 (in my opinion) made the Xbox something that everyone wanted to play, and of course in innovation of online multiplayer. While Halo was definitely a factor in making the Xbox amazing, it was not the only thing.

Why cant Halo and cod get along? they are very different. CoD is much more hardcore, but halo is altogether more polished and is strong in EVERY detail. Its hard to compare them. I personally prefer halo, but i will gladly play cod too.

@TheAceofOcea I agree, I bought B.OPS, played the Campaign then hit XBL on Reach, and there was no kids!! i could finally play Reach without a annoying kid, but i then put in CoD B.OPS, and just about every 1 in 5 people playing were kids and they all screamed when i killed them. So after 4 hours, i reverted back to Reach, then onto Halo 3 where i found that people that appreciate it for the game it is, were playing, i had some good matches from then on.

I'd just listen to the awesomeness that is the MUSIC, and forget that {insert enemy unit(s) here} is/are attacking me! I've died a few times, getting distracted like that. :P
Other times, the music makes me feel...invincible, making me think I can go out there, guns a-blazing, and the Covenant will drop like flies. (*SPOILER* -- It fails terribly on Legendary. :P)
