I personally (usually) hate prequels because you don't get the current progress of the characters, but a little plot link was in the final scene Kai says "till we meet again in another life" (inaccurate) so maybe she'll comeback in a sequel or a prequel (its better than nothing)

Before they put it on HS2 on hold, they were talking about a guy. That's what I read. And Kai was supposed to be older in the next game. I don't know but I would like for there to be a HS2

I personally have not heard or seen any solid info regarding a Heavenly Sword 2 being in development. Though i agree with most everyone on here that a second game would be awesome!

Maybe Heavenly Sword 2 is a prequel of the first HS, because in the animated HS comic strip, it was actually a man who had the sword before Nariko...The comic strip can be gained in HS itself, and is also here on YouTube.
