Air being a hentai game at first cant be helped because Key was not yet known in the market so they had to resort in using porn to attract costumers.
Look at Clannad and Little Busters, because Key was already known when they went into production, they were not H-games. Though, they did updated it into an H-game due to popular demand
Did you guys know the original AIR Visual novel is a Hentai game? But later, Key released an Edition of Air without the Erotic Content? Oh well, But it was a Great story and Great Ending.
@aceuchiha in the game yes, in the manga the Yukito dies i think, i was confused on the last chapter, well you need to read that, but i think it was the manga were Yukito said something along the lines of i will keep traveling so a can save the person from the same fate as mizuru
@aceuchiha in the game yes but only the curse was lifted, in the manga the Yukito dies i think, i was confused on the last chapter, well you need to read that, but i think it was the manga were Yukito said something along the lines of i will keep traveling so a can save the person from the same fate as mizuru
@aceuchiha Visual Novels have many different outcomes. The 'good' end usually takes a few run throughs of the game to finally get to. I believe this is the true ending.
Let's live together. Let's go to the sea again. Let's take a walk with the weird juice you like. Let's play as long as you like. Let's live live in harmony at Kamio house. Hey.... So please, don't go away! Don't leave me! Don't leave me alone! Don't leave me alone.... Hey, Misuzu...Misuzu...Misuzu...Misuzu.... Misuzu...Misuzu!
Just when did "Air" first come out, and in what form? Visual Novel? I just recently dicovered the anime, and yes, been bawling my eyes out int he process.
BTW: In the anime I really liked it how Mizusu says "goal" when she grabs Haruko. I thought that would come straight from the game, since it's so great. Ah well ;)
It's weird how Mizusu still opens her eyes one more time.
The anime conveys this scene pretty well, with Haruko urging Misuzu to come to her. Somehow I find the game ending even more depressing, since in the anime Haruko still gets her long positive speech about going on living and flying in the sky.
The song is indeed "Aozora". In the anime they cut the last verse, for some reason. In the movie they even cut more than half. It's beautiful though and actually it makes this scene whole.
oh wow. i really cried there. Even when there wasnt much animation. TT ^ TT "Mizusu! Mizusu! MIZUSUUUUU!!!" im so glad i can unstand japanese. I luv Air! so dramatic!
No. Some fans tried to translate it, but gave up, since it is a lot of work. Since it is a rather old game it will likely never be released in English either. A shame, since it really deserves a wider public.

The anime adaptation is good, but just not as good as the original game. (>x<)
On the other hand the movie is trash, btw.^^; With completely different story line led by lame characters whose only similarities to the original are their names and looks. That one sure made a lot of Key lovers angry.
If you like either the game or the anime versions of Air, try not to get too excited when watching its movie adaptation. Personally, I regret watching that one...
like that too. i just know it. haha. the movie i mean, sinec the adapters are working on the clannad movie. but manng.. im so pumped for the anime adaption!
Yeah I hated the movie. But keep in mind that Toei made it, and Kyoto Anime > Toei, always, graphically and in keeping true to the original story while adding little details that make the setting magic.
Wow they really milk out the drama in this clip. Give the voice actor a break...her voice must be hoarse. And where's that ugly, useless black crow that was tossed in to make the fans ponder and see depth in an ambigous 'symbol?' Guess it croaked or something.
*sobs* I want the game to come out in America!! That way I can sob over both the anime and the game...
Random musing: It seems like Japan is the only country that can come up with cartoons/games that can really touch your heart and can be really deep. I don't think any other country does. The US, to my knowledge, only has cartoons a) for little kids, b) with humor, and c) with gross adult humor. What's with that?
The game is about the anime. The song is called Aozora, and the singer is Lia--or the singer to the opening of the game and anime, and the ending song of the anime. Giniro is simply Aozora played on the piano
im a male who never crys and still eavery time when i see misuzu die i cry its just not normale i realy cant keep it clear im just crying even when i dont get it (saw it first not sub i cryd) later sub i cryd end now the game cryd......WHY DO I HAVE A WEAK POINT T_T dam the makers of air your anime is to good

@YourTheBlame It's not a 'hentai' game, most visual novels feature adult content. That's just what bishoujo games do.

So even in the game, it was impossible for Ryuuya (Yukito) to save Kanna (Misuzu)... Time to kick his balls!!! ~_~

The visual novel was originally released in 2000, whereas the TV-series and the movie were both released in the beginning of 2005.

First it was the Visual Novel, then the Manga, then the Anime plus the two extra episodes Air In Summer, then the Movie.

The movie was actually, I think, a more indepth story line to the anime series.
Because it just seems more detailed with everything then the anime had itself.
But I do regret watching it because I just watched it for like the fourteenth time and I've been balling from the start because I know what happens.
God am I'm such a crybaby. xD
