@WiseGuyEddie Such kind words! Thank you! Got a new one I'll be recording this week called "Red State Blue". I think you'll like it if you enjoyed this one.
Hey, nice song. You wear your Roy Zimmerman influences on your sleeve. But that's cool. You are a much better guitar player than I will ever be! I will check out some of the other tunes on your channel.
Oh yeah, I found this because you interjected on a little chat I had on twitter about the benefits of some Socialized Government Services, and how we shouldn't fear that. It took me a while to spot your tweet. Sorry. And thanks for putting in your 2 cents! Be well and rock on! -Russ
@RockingJamboree Thanks for your comments! Much appreciated! I'll have to take a look at your youtube channel, as well! Honestly, I'm pretty far from a slick guitar player, but thank you.
I liked that idiot who called the rich "job creators" LMFAO! Who's dumb enough to buy that propoganda still? 30 years and zero jobs, just outsourcing by corps overseas. WAKE UP!
Fantastic! One thing they've forgotten is that SS and medicare were created to give a cushion so the elderly wouldn't starve to death or go homeless. It is one of the strengths of our country. The TPers are wrong. I don't understand where their reasoning is coming from, the root of it.
@artdolls I don't get it, either. How do they get so many people to vote in a way that favors the wealthy? I mean, it's obvious to all that nothing has trickled down in 30 years. The rich don't want to hire the middle class and poor...it's too risky. They want to invest, earn capital gains at lower tax rates, and keep score by counting their money. JOBS are created when the middle class has buying power.
Will Katz has put pen to paper once again to find a nugget in the sea of cheese. Folks, you can quibble ad nauseum all you like over different interpretations of the facts. 25% still equals 33% in the same argument by the same person, and the only difference is perspective (1/4 of a whole equals 1/3 of the resultant). Clearly, what we've been missing is a cold, hard and unflinching look at our surroundings, each one for themselves. Rhetoric fed us regularly by the status quo only serves per se
You said it all - in one sweet song - gratz and great job. Clinton's successful economy (much higher taxes, balanced budget and very low unemployment) is not so far off that people have forgotten it - instead, the out of control deficit spending put in motion by Bush (tax cuts we obviously could not afford, two unfunded wars and an unfunded medicare prescription plan) is now used by the GOP to win politican points - its turned into a great game for them, but that's all it is.
@robsssss Thank you so much! Yeah, it's amazing how they have managed to "win" the rhetoric game...even when their points are less valid. They do seem to do a better job of keeping the message simple. Pisses me off, of course!
Bravo! Teapublicans aren't fond of FACTS. They live in a make believe world where tax cuts create jobs and the loss of revenue due to the economic crash is spending.
@TheBaderNationVideos Someone's still waiting for the tinkle on, LOL. Worst job growth since WW II under shrub, a DECADE of lost jobs.Wingers still peddling the 49% don't pay taxes LIE?You can lie but you can't hide, there is too much info out there. From FACT CHECK dot org.The CBO found that earners in the lowest quintile, where most of those with no income tax liability fall, shouldered 4.3 percent of the payroll tax burden and 11.1 percent of the excise taxes.
@TheBaderNationVideos continued from FACT CHECK. Their effective tax rate (which is calculated by dividing taxes paid by total income) in those categories, according to the CBO, was in fact significantly higher than the rate of the top quintile, although that top one-fifth of the population had a much higher effective tax rate for individual and corporate income taxes. Thankfully, the MAJORITY of Americans aren't buying the reichtwing lie anymore. So sad for you.
@TheBaderNationVideos Being exempt from income tax does not mean you’re exempt from federal taxes. Everyone who works is liable for payroll taxes, contributions to Medicare and Social Security that come out of every paycheck. There are also excise taxes on some goods and services, most notably the 18.4 cents per gallon tax on gasoline. Tell Grandma on Soc.Sec. making $20,000 a year she's not paying enough! LOL

@conchf Tax cuts for job creators allow for more jobs to be created. How about those 49% who pay no taxes?
