When you say tomato sauce do you mean ketchup? I live in Canada and our ketchup looks like your tomato sauce and comes in the same type of bottle. Our tomato sauce is in a can or jar.
I love how ur old kitchen is so different from the new one :) and i love how the show has progressed from then to a more professional yet just as charming show now.
i remember a dish that had left over sausages and tomato. this is a twist but works in a pinch when your craving it. thankie much for having this available to me to view :D (this is highlordevens gf)
I used 20 sausages cos I always cook enough for the 5000 lol Then I freeze some too for another day. I served this with wholewheat spaghetti. You could serve it with rice, or just on it's own. I'll leave serving suggestions up to you. Hope you enjoy the recipe, David.
Method:fry sauages & cut into slices. Dice up & fry all the vegetables, add to sausages. Add beans, tomatoes & seasonings. make up sauage cassarole mix according to instruction & add. add 3 beef oxo's, & 2 cans of cider. Cook all together in 1 pot on hob simmer for approx 3 hours.
Hi David, thanks for the recipe. Just a question, do you have a recipe for sausage and baked beans cassarole it's cooked in cider? My friend had the recipe, but lost it.
Also david.. as i was watching this I COULD SMELL the sausages and tomatoes NO JOKE but then i realised my mum was cooking sausages downstairs but it was so funny! Keep up the good work mate!!

A whisk would probably be best to help incorporate the water into the flour mixture. The right tools makes life so much easier.

For the gravy, use a whisk to stir and keep the flame on low. This will prevent lumps and add a smoother texture.

Chopping onions is one of my most HATED chores - I avoid it where I can. But I did do it once for one video - people nearly died of shock!

You had to use TWO pots to make that!! You cheated by cooking the sausage before starting! hehe
