  • im 28 and just started watching it again hopefully my son will like it as much as i did as a child.BY CROM HE WILL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ReleaseTheRiver

Sure. Just saying. I still like the intro and the song, mostly because of the memories of my own childhood.

  • Comment removed

  • This was my favorite cartoon when it I was 9-11 years old when it came out. He-man is great but a decade or so earlier. I think this blows He-Man out of the water but my older brother would probably disagree since he grew up watching He-man.

  • Yay

  • Uploader, GREAT job! thank you :)

  • @mikkodude112 He-man wears a gay pink shirt and when he transforms he has an even gayer bondage harness on with a speedo

  • no he-man is the best

  • i agree milkodude and i am a he man fan but you r right this better than heman

  • i agree milkodude and i am he man fan but you r right this better than heman

  • Can't thank you enough for uploading all the episodes.

  • @Rockcul Homophobe reviewer with a retarded comment

  • @mikkodude112 I always felt this aswell.Something about he-man always made me sick

  • @mikkodude112 He-man's a giant flamer. I don't recall He-Man fighting atop a mountain of skulls and banishing his enemies to oblivion. We're even told in the theme song, Conan's the mightiest warrior, ever!

  • @mikkodude112 Conan is better than ANY of those other cartoon warriors. But frankly, it's not hard to be better than He-man.

  • @mikkodude112 He's certainly more human than He-man could ever be and i reckon he could teach he-man a thing or two about swordplay.

  • I wish my kids had cartoons like this to grow up to. This show is imaginative, well illustrated and bad ass.

  • @Rockcul Dude one earring is bad ass (pirates, warriors etc). Two earrings women and fags.

  • @TemplarX2 lmfao u gotta know that men wore jewelry, (such as earrings) make up panty hose and yes even skirts before women did. so dont let 2 earings fool ya because original pirates wore them in both ears.

  • this 5 ppl cant summom a lion xD

  • wow he has sex slaves, not really nice is he!

  • like this cartoon, respect from RUS,this old cartoon..he very ideal.

  • @mikkodude112 I fuckin agree with you! :P

  • conan is good, but He-man has a special place in my heart.

  • this cartoon is only 2nd best inline after "Korgath of Barbaria"

  • I have never seen this before. When the hell was this on? What channel?

  • @mikkodude112 10 years ago i'd have staunchly disagreed, but i recently watched a ton of the original He-man and it does NOT hold up against time, if anything its gayer than when gay came to gay town XD

Seriously i grew up on He-man but this show is way better! The Heman Cartoon was so clearly made to JUST sell toys. Thought the He-man toys were certainly superior.

  • @mikkodude112 ya, conan is a bad ass to begin with.

  • all these series remind me of "god of war" for the ps2

  • The reptilians are real

  • Ever notice the sign of...Jehbalsag?...is never the same twice? Is a little bit of consistency too much to ask for?

  • @Gunganfan it's problably because the animals are diferent every time

  • That intro is awesome...SO...MUCH...HAM!!!

  • I swear, the intro is so epic!

  • I don't think it's 4th episode..it's 5th I think...

In 4th episode was in mountains...he met his friend wizard

  • @Hamiltoncheater You would be wrong. That would be Episode 8 "Greywolf of Xanthus."

  • Conan is better than He-Man for me as well. By the way, if you know this Conan also fought an undead sorcerer known as Thulsa Doom (NOT THE MOVIE VERSION) who looks like Skeletor.

  • @mikkodude112 Right.

  • did...he say "By my ballsack, i summon a Lion!"?????

  • @Roninwithoutname By the sign of ja ballsack. lol

  • who the hell is he man lol weird ass name

  • know thats friendship would you go to a canibal village for your friends not me sorry guys.

  • ROFL aw man you gotta love the writers in this epic cartoon .."By Crom something rings false in this tale!" ROFL Man I love this show.

  • This and 'Invasion America' were my fav cartoons from childhood

  • almost 20 years since!!!..watching this seems just like yesterday...CROM is pleased....

  • pretty elaborate engineering and technology for a fucking tribal village

  • Blasphmy! Conan needs no sorcery! (1:57)

  • Conan vs. animals...poor animals.

  • 3:15 Did he just say, that Zula was "carted off to Darfur, the City of Cannibals"?

  • hahahah! at 1:40 sounds like he says "Zula taught me well! By the sign of 'Ja Ballsack' master of beasts"

  • I like these action toons and I also like the over the top cartoons as well. When I say the over the top I meant the old Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry shit like that. Not the bullshit they put on these days thats just retarded. No wonder kids have all these ADD disorders have you seen some of the fucking cartoons where the characters run around like a fucking maniac speaking jibberish. Also enough with all the pokemon type bullshit where they battle with some sort of monster.CONAN RULES ALL

  • It's sad, because kids should see cartoons like this nowadays rather than back then.

  • Hell they should just read the classic stories

  • This series was a surprisingly good representetion of Conan. I'm glad to be watching it again, almost twenty years later.

  • Don't know if anyone's mentioned this or you may think it's random, but doesn't the Cannibal ruler remind you you of Earthquake of Samurai Showdown? lol... Just a random thought

  • 6:46 "the deadly papalotas thier juice run into banana death"

  • Just watching the intro for the first time since I was a kid gave me the chills! I forgot about the lizard men and his stone family, etc... AMAZING

  • I'm thinking the Wassai started testing for steroids. That would explain the precipitous drop in Zula's size and ability. Oh, and the cannibals took the lifts out of his shoes as part of some cruel humiliating joke. That would explain the height thing.

  • How did Zula get smaller than Conan?

  • In my opinion, no anime is a match for Conan.

  • I'm buying this on DVD for my son to watch. . . . Well it's for me, but he is certainly invited to watch too. And read my conan novels. . . If kid's read anymore.

  • probably one of the greatest cartoons ever, lol I barely remember watching this when I was 3 (1992), but this brings memories of childhood

  • Show your wife too!

  • true

  • conan is like one gigantic Man o war music video i love it. And boys need masculine heroes to look up to. If not then why is wwe so popular.

  • Jasmine can walk well, despite getting banged by Conan at the end of the previous episode.

  • the manhood of our culture?

wtf are u guys on about.. y cant kids be kids for a while without running around trying to kill things?

stop saying spongebob isnt masculine.. its not meant to be! its not about heroes and it is made for preschoolers not primary aged kids like conan was. i grew up with conan, today they have ben 10. big deal. less shirtless men running around with swords and more teens fighting for teens.. programming that has actually been psychologically evaluated for todays kids

  • No offense but the psychological crap they throw at kids is disgusting. For one thing they always seem to think children are dumber than they actually are. Just look at the stupid programs they give pre-schoolers. Even when I was 3 years old I watched Transformers with my brother. I didn't understand a word they were saying (English isn't my mother tongue) but I could still easily see who the bad guy was and who the good guy was. Nowadays they just make stuff about counting and frolicking beasts

  • yeah but the counting and educational stuff actually stimulates parts of the brain that has a critical sensitive period, stuff that once upon a time parents were able to do at home with kids, nowadays they dont have time and so they can plonk their child infront of a tv and know at least theyre getting some sort of cognitive stimulaiton.

i study developmental psychology and seriously man, what they are showing now may not be as entertaining, but its sure as hell producing faster thinking kids.

  • @forocious I beg to differ. Most of what I watched besides Conan was PBS since I didn't have cable as a kid. The stuff they have out now pales to the kind of brainy content you look for.

  • I agree today's cartoons are ridiculous What happened to our heroes where is the moral? Guys like Conan and Master Splinter taught me never to surrender and never to leave a friend in peril what has spongebob taught us

  • how to grow to be a wanker

  • Couldn't agree more. The same thing is slowly developping in anime too. (though they're not that far yet) They just don't make cartoons like they used to. You have to watch Ben 10 to get even a whiff of non comical action and it's still not the same.

  • looks like Gi . JOE

  • you gotta love Conan...

  • zula shrunk. I thought he was a masculine girl in the 2nd movie or did they just make an inaccuracy?

  • funny, i thought the Darfari cannibals were black. not to be racist, but i read the original REH stories. i think i recall them being described as black.

    *shrug*

  • It's interesting how the heros of old (ie. the 80's) were all buff and in their thirty's while today's cartoon heros are skinny teenagers.

  • shows how things have degenerated

  • Our cartoons were GI Joe, He-Man, and Transformers, while today's cartoons are Dora the Explorer and Spongebob. No wonder the manhood of our culture is in peril.

  • Most cartoons today just feature a bunch whiny, girly, teens who can't do worth shit until halfway through a series. What ever happened to the buff and masculine as hell heroes who actually knew what the hell they were doing?

  • I know! I was born in 1980, and I grew up with heroic cartoon characters and action heros. I think it's the demasculization of our society at work.

  • I guess that cartoon makers these days just like to peg the heroes as spineless wimps rather than fierce as hell and tougher than a can of nails.

What we got today is just pathetic

  • spongebob isnt supposed to be heroic cartoon.

  • Don't forget they also feature angsty, emo teens. Why for example anime's don't feature more adult main characters is beyond me.

  • i just love when it says "THE MIGHTIEST WARRIOR EVER!" lol AWESOME!

  • This is the greatest thing ever. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but now I understand why I grew up to be such a badass!

  • best cartoon ever.

  • Bleek is the man.

  • The chief just can't wait to declare his son dead and find a repalcement.

  • Dude...this really is the most manly cartoon ever made.

  • I was reading some of Howard's old personal correspondence and he based the Pict's on the Native Americans but placed them in celtic territory and the Cimmerians on Danes like Beowulf. In his mythos the cannibals were the Darfars.

  • Darfur?

  • Sumerians are from babylon, what today is called iraq. The most ancient civilisation discovered yet.

  • well, the black guy died quick..........

  • damn no kidding, what the hell man. He was a good character too. =(

  • The character are soooo impressive compare to rigth now. These people had done really good work just by doing it in hand. You probalily knew now everything is done by computer.

  • well not everything but 95% some things just can't be done by computer still, but your right manual animation gives more depth

  • The Cimmerians in Howard's world lived near the Avanheimers, who were the Vikings, but weren't themselves Vikings. The Picts were Howard's representation of the Celtic peoples. Given that Howard hung out a lot with H. P. Lovecraft, who believed the English were the master race, I'd imagine the Cimmerians are supposed to be some sort of ancient English tribe like the Iceni.

  • Yeah Howard was influeced by socail Dawinism so thought that diferent races were natual enermys, but that being said "bad" guys like Thoth Amon(who Wrath Amon is based on), at least by todays standards,is a lot more Symperthetic character than Conan.

  • That's right. By today's standards Howard's Conan stories were quite racist, but considering that the stories came out in the 30s those were the beliefs at the time unfortunately. Still, those stories are classic and Conan is one of the greatest literary characters of the past century

  • Its like when people acuse Tolkein of being sexist, if LoTR was sexist its only because the times he was writting in were sexist, its somewhat unfair to judge him by todays standards.

  • This isn't playing

  • Idk about the Celtics, but Conana was some type of Norseman, (vikings) I've heard he was either German, or Russain.

  • Lmao! omg zula is shorter now! What happened to him that made him shrink?!! Lol

  • Cimmerians are Celtic, right? Because I'm celtic >:)

  • the Cimmerians in Robert Howard's stories were described as proto-Celtic. the historical ones are more.. Iranian-sorta.

  • God bless man, loved this cartoon growing up.

  • WHAT A PROGRAM....

  • this freaking rocks

  • is zula more smaller then in the first episode???

  • Yeah, by Crom! he shrunk!! lol

  • old school? lol that is not that old old is the early 80!:O)

  • It's still really retro. Brings back lots of memories. Wouldn't have had a childhood w/o these cartoons

  • Talking about cannibals in a kid's cartoon. Man the 90s ruled before "Soccer moms".

  • Bleek is the man.

  • Ah, reliving another half hour of my childhood. Thanks Bleeek.
