Well with triggers, longboards, 10 years of practice and the right technique it isn't, but using some basic iron cobras and getting a sound from the hit is something that even some of the best of the best can't do. Then there are the non-human players aka gods like george kollias. And yes, Putridity is pretty crazy.

@omghievery1 Years of practice my friend. It took me about half a year just to get the endurance to play whole songs and not let my blasts get sloppy. Practice every day and you will get good. :D

are you using any muffling or anything on the snare? your snare looks about as deep as mine, but i can't get rid of the damn ringiness without just putting a ton of muffling and making it sound completely dead...

tighten both sides as much as you can. dont tighten the bottom as much if you dont have a thick skin on the bottom. you dont need rings or tape to make it sound deeper. get an evans double skin head with the oil in the middle. it has such a thick sound that when your snare is tighten to shit it will sound like death metal lol...hope that kinda helps, it worked for me
