I worked this concert, he was AMAZING! The theatre is spelled MAHAIWE, and it's pronounced MU-HAY-WEE. He played for the crew after load-out across the street at the Gazebo for about an hour!

John was my teacher, one of those who pointed the way to exploring acoustic guitar and its roots. Michael Hedges thought of himself as a tree; I am sure most guitar players understand.
