From my experience, this PAR code probably corrupted the game's decompression routine.

One compression technique it uses, is that it will go back to see some section that was already placed, and places it again. That is why you see a mix of both levels.

I took a deeper look in that RAM Code. Changing that value, will make massive changes in levels/overworld. How bigger, worse.
