@noone309 Hehe not all :-) Thunder Dolphin in Tokyo has a scary fast cable lift and DoDonPa at Mt. Fuji is the world's fastest accelerating coaster (0-107 MPH in under 2 seconds)--but, other than that, yup most of them really appreciate the long slow chainlift.

No, I think that crunchy metal sound is actually the ride itself. Not sure that would make me feel very safe.
