Family Court is a business, it is not open to the public, so no one could question it. How long has it been like that? How long will it last? When will be the time when the people will say "That's enough I wont take this anymore"? Oh, for god's sake. When?

Separating children from their fathers is feminist child abuse. We must remove incentives for courts that exploit broken families. We must crack down on false allegations in family court used to retain restraining order, and we must remove these corrupt judges from the family courts and they should be arrested for cutting off parent-child relationships without proven reasons.

Paul, the court is NOT about money. It is about destroying mens willingness to protect and support children. This is so that the children can then be siezed by the state from the mothers because the fathers would not protect them. Children are often used by women in courts are bargaining chips as stated. My friend's mom divorced his dad because he found out about her cheating on him. And she used my friend to get every penny out of his dad, then to add insult to injury, she would send my friend to live with his dad on the days his dad did not have offical custody for money. And he paid because he loved his kids. While she was off screwing some other guy and partying TYFR

A different angle on this subject. While I knew the individual lawyers were acting out of greed, I had no idea how deeply duplicitous the "System " is. I thought it was just incompetent. Change will not come swiftly not with a for profit system. The incentive to continue with more of the same is to great. It reminds me of health care Kick backs really. Obscene !!! I am not a father yet (25) although what you say sounds truly horrifying. I was lucky enough that when my parents divorced they stayed on civil terms and I was able to A. choose if I wanted to stay with either parent and B. normally did 2 weeks on 2 weeks off with either parent. I could not imagine how I would feel if a judge passed such injustices against me.

What a travesty of justice. The whole court sponsored false accusation of abuse is downright criminal.

My vote would be to remove government from the realm of marriage and divorce altogether.

That would be ideal, some form of arbitration process, but as you pointed out there are too many people making money from the current system. It would require a mass movement of people to put enough political pressure to make such a change. Those profiting now will fight tooth and nail to maintain the gravy train.

Perhaps another method is to promote a competing arbritation system that is fairer, less destructive solution. Is it possible to pull an end around against the legal system?

Fathers should be able to love their children without shackles...financial, or otherwise.

My mother let me live with my father in California, at the age of nine. I never would have known his love for me in the way that I was allowed, had it been a nasty divorce. I credit my mother's love for me, to the end result of that.

My father has just recently passed away. I have memories a lot of children are/have been denied, because of mothers and courts. Thanks Paul. Great topic.
