I am now officially a member of the CFA in my area and I think that the effects of these fires will not disappear ever. Every year on every 35 degree+ day we will be scared for our lives. Even people from within the city will be afraid because of the rwaw magnitude of damage caused by these fires. Towns were destroyed, well over 200 people killed.
