The model on the show was 18 ft in length? Wow! No wonder the Seaview looked so incredibly realistic. Nowadays its all done with CGI. Yet, it's just not the same as with using real 3D models.
I have a 5 foot model of the Seaview thats remote control compatible, Meaning that you can install RC parts to make her work, Its still in the box unbuilt, I'm thinking about saleing the kit, If you're interestead, Maybe we can talk?
hello yuumi , thank you very much for your comment. I'm still working on the seaview. I built an underwater decor. I soon finished the diorama. I will soon send a new video in about a month. I wish you good luck for mounting your seaview. all my compliments from Belgium to you and your family. a bientot sur you tube with new videos

Actually, the big Seaview miniature is listed as a 17-footer. There was an 8-footer for underwater-shots in season II.

You've done a great job !
I've bought this kit lately and planned to light up as well. Are those red and green lights on the bridge tower LEDs or Optical fibers ?
I'm thinking If I couid light inside with a EL sheet although it's rather expensive here in Japan so far.... LoL
Thanks

Hi there, I just built this model as well and was gonna run fiber optic cable inside but it would barely be visable, so I just did l.e.d.
like you.I think I may have messed up the power source coz it seems dimmer than yours.
What did you use to power it? house power from a wall plug or battery power?
