  • very nice indeed, impressive

  • Tres chouette!

  • BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!

  • great job !!!!!

  • Actually, the big Seaview miniature is listed as a 17-footer. There was an 8-footer for underwater-shots in season II.

  • where can i buy one of these?

  • Any hobby shop. I'm building and lighting mine right now! It is SO COOOL!!!

  • Well Done!

  • The TV show model was 18 feet long.

  • The model on the show was 18 ft in length? Wow! No wonder the Seaview looked so incredibly realistic. Nowadays its all done with CGI. Yet, it's just not the same as with using real 3D models.

  • Yes, I think it is in the Planet Hollywood Restaurant in San Fransisco - or one of them that I saw it at.....

  • A M A Z I N G !! SUPER THE BEST !!

  • wow , great job

  • Is / are these aval. for Sale?

*I would like a nice BIG ONE , like in the original movie

"Voyage to the bottom of the Sea" ... That one was about 41/2 - 5' long. NOW YOUR TALKING !!!

  • I have a 5 foot model of the Seaview thats remote control compatible, Meaning that you can install RC parts to make her work, Its still in the box unbuilt, I'm thinking about saleing the kit, If you're interestead, Maybe we can talk?

  • I am interested.

  • @gre2381 Still have the model ? :-)

  • You've done a great job !

I've bought this kit lately and planned to light up as well. Are those red and green lights on the bridge tower LEDs or Optical fibers ?

I'm thinking If I couid light inside with a EL sheet although it's rather expensive here in Japan so far.... LoL

    Thanks

  • Hi there, I just built this model as well and was gonna run fiber optic cable inside but it would barely be visable, so I just did l.e.d.

like you.I think I may have messed up the power source coz it seems dimmer than yours.

What did you use to power it? house power from a wall plug or battery power?
