Probably the best post punk band EVER what a pity only 1 L.P. to show for it and the production-brilliant,Ian Broudie at his best and fame with Peely to-MAGIC,Stevie,Rutherglen,Glasgow.

I used to see this mob in London when I was a kid. Must have seen them about 15 times (including the Rainbow show supporting the Undertones; they put me on the guest list & I hung out back stage etc). They were a really nice bunch & one of the bands who inspired me to become a musician (Sex Gang Children etc). Good to see this although not my fave. P.S, there are a few singles in one of the 2nd hand record shops in Berwick St (I can't remember which one, sorry)!
@alex54321go The band have been back for a while(check myspace) and put out a new album, but Cherry Red in UK are putting out a compliation album at the end of March (album plus most of singles) called Snakes & Ladders(check on Amazon).
Flaming eck! I saw these guys years ago as a support band to The Undertones who played at the Guildford Civic Hall .... how many years ago was that? (at least 25 - I hear you shout)
i thought i was the only one circa, 80*81! TV21,Comsat Angels, Sounds...I was 14 maybe 15 and no one knew why I listened to all these bands...teardrop, echo and bunnymen ...Cure Hammersmith ...U2 Lyceum...I was not alone...Jam Rainbow
i thought this group was great, i was living in amherst, mass. during the brutal winter of 1981-82 and i had tv21's thin red line and teardrop explodes wilder on a cassette that i wore out, along with sleep no more by comsat angels, and wah! heat's first album.
Not sure that their album lived up to the promise of their singles. They blew it after supporting The Rolling Stones and All Join Hands charting.Norman went on to become a social worker i think...they are reformed now and playing live near you.
Excellent. So glad you posted it. One of the best bands not to have made it big. John Peel used to play their stuff quite a bit. For a stunning TV21 single look for a copy of On The Run. Or for more Teardrop style try Tomorrow.
Absolutely fantastic. Not seen this for 30 years . Had it on VHS (!) but lost the tapes. Thanks uploader. Great to see again.

What happened with these.
I only have a 10" EP of theirs.
Their album " A Thin Red Line" was deleted when I tried to buy it.
Does anyone know where I can get this or if they are going to intend to record anything again. I love this band.

Musically, it reminds me of The Teardrop Explodes. Nice post, cheers.
