I was not familiar with this story but i am not at all surprised to find that modern day rocket science has its roots in magick. Christianity has always shunned free thinking and science. Occultists on the other hand (since the days of alchemy) have been experiementing. The faith allows change and allows you to be wrong not unlike science.

yeah man I live in pasadena and I always wonder what crazy shit must go on inside that building. there is also a house out here where parson, alister crowley and other occultist used as a ritual house. Ive heard that house is haunted,everytime I pass through there it gives me the chills that house looks too damn creepy.

yeah its 720 n mentor ave, the cross street is orange grove. if you are goin east on orange grove you make a left on mentor, if you are facing west then you make a right. so when you get on mentor facing north it should be the 3rd or 4th house from the corner of mentor and orange grove, it is to your right hand side facing north.

@KREATOR472 The Parsons mansion where they did all of there rituals was on I003 Orange Grove, just down the street from Mentor...it was demolished 25 years ago or so unfortunately and is now an apt. complex.

Ironically, even though Parsons was Crowley's #I disciple, they never met. Check out the book 'Strange Angel', its an awesome read.
