  • great tipps!!!

  • Very helpful. On another note, is it just me or does your bass neck seem super wide?

  • @Airhead4321 yea, it does look weird. it's a regular p-bass, but i was using some bottom of the line canon mini dv camera back then and the widescreen setting gave everything the funhouse mirror effect. luckily, i've managed to evolve out of that stage. hopefully the vids are a little better these days, but the information is still very solid stuff!

  • Careful not to bend your strings out of tune.

  • you are absolutely right, sir!! This was one of the first vids I ever did. I had a tough time with it at first!! plus the bass action and camera angle make it even worse. I know that's no excuse though. This video demonstrates how easy it is to bend the strings sharp when you're not completely focused - especially up around the 12th fret. Horrible example I set here - I really need to re-do or take this vid down :(

don't bend your string out of tune like i do in this vid, my bad

  • very nice and helpful exersice..!!!!

  • might just be the recording studio stuff you're using sounds weird when you put it on youtube

  • i use a Line6 PODxt Live floorpedal with various patches set. i had it set on the "solo" patch which includes chorus and reverb. sounds killer when it's cranked in the clubs. great sound to solo with. highly recommend the Line6 PODxt Live floorpedal

  • sounds like i was using chorus and reverb for some reason. hope it's not too annoying

  • why does it sound like that
