1. The lemon squeezer he used extracts juice only, so there won't be any pulp in the drink.
2. Vodka is tasteless, yes, so that makes it an ideal base spirit for cocktails - you gotta make sure the other ingredients taste great and are perfectly balanced.
3. I've copied this guy's recipe for the Lemon Drop hundreds of times and I love it. It's simple, smooth, very refreshing but still packs a reasonable punch. Highly recommended. Give that sh*t a try.

Nice comment posted about dropping the lemon. This guy should be fired because he's an embarrassment of the establishment called The Great New orleans Bartenders. HA! Die! Really? Loser!

Did he just drop the knife on the floor and then use it to cut the lemon? Gross! He also says, ah, way too much. Check out, Cocktails in 60 seconds or less. There you'll see a GREAT Lemon Drop recipe.
@POIUYBLUE you're a fucking idiot. He dropped the lemon, not the knife. Plus he's making these drinks for demonstration, not for actual paying customers. Shut the fuck up and die.
i see a lot of cocktails consist of a base spirit plus a sour mix and are just served a little differently (ie over ice, or in a martini glass, garnish etc)
Dear Mr. Mc Millian, I would like to thank you for all the nice and so well done cocktail videos that you're showing us! I have been watching your videos many times with the total confidence that you're really showing how it has to be done and now, I'm finally getting a job as a bartender!! You're truly a Cocktail Maestro I would say!!! Thank you!
This guy is awesome, but I wouldn't want to be the guy who cleans the bar when it closes. Dude makes a fucking mess...

Actually from what I saw he dropped the knife, but I agree with you - it's for demo not for a paying customer so no harm no foul.

Yes, it's called drink families., but always use fresh juice, never sour mix. It makes a huge difference in taste.
