It's Rosalie. She 's a good friend of mine, and I just asked her about this clip. She doesn't have a copy of it, but she knows about it and she remembers that day very well. And yes, MillerMencken40, she and Bromberg were touring together at that time.
If you look very carefully after the song ends you'll see David Bromberg getting up to leave (about 56 seconds in). I think he says (in reference to the rain) "it's not good for the dobro.." The way the dobro finished that up sounded very rehearsed. I would venture to say that Bromberg was probably playing gigs with Rosalie at the time.

Whoever it's supposed to be, all I can see is Jerry Garcia! I wanted to see what David Bromberg looked like in '69, but I'll have to look elsewhere. I must say the voice does not, at least in this video, sound like Mimi Farina.
Did anyone ever see the F Troop episode that had Henry Gibson guest star as "Wrongo Star" and he had a goat "Miss Gwendolynne"...that who she sounds like.
Ditto that. It's Rosalie by a chin. Although Mimi and Sylvia were both there, Sylvia had a similar vocal style and similar appearance, it's definitely Rosalie. Besides, it was her song from her then current LP, as stated previously. The title really should be changed. Give credit where credit is due. The biggest blunder the Dead ever made was not appearing in the Woodstock movie. Thanks a lot Warner Bros. #$%&*!!!
In learning about all my favorite musicians over the years I've heard a lot about Mimi. This is the first time I've experienced her singing that I know of! Thanks!! Going to check out her other stuff here with Dick too, how cool the stuff you find on YouTube!
Cool clip---howlingly bad title page. Once more for the folks in the cheap seats, that would be my friend, Rosalie Sorrels, singing "If I Could Be the Rain" (by U. Utah Phillips, GVGSW(random little ditty?)) the title track of her 1967 Folk Legacy LP.

Are you sure it is Mimi Farina? It is not her voice and not her face!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Definitely Rosalie Sorrels's voice and face, not Mimi Farina. Mimi was probably on site, but that's it.

I am relieved that I am not the first to notice that THIS IS ROSALIE SORRELS, NOT MIMI FARINA!

Yep, I had guessed Rosalie Sorrels too before reading the other comments.
Don't fret about the Dead being MIA from the Woodstock film, I was there too & they really sucked that night, & I was a fan then.
