I personally believe Zabuza is extremely underrated. After Zabuza's first encounter with Team 7, Kakashi even admitted that, if Kakasi had faced Zabuza alone, Kakashi would have been defeated. Later, Zabuza, despite being grievously wounded, his chakra depleted and having his arms paralyzed, managed to take down many of a gang of thugs. As mentioned before, he probably would even have overpowered Kakashi had it not been for Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. IMO, he's one of the best Shinobi ever.

@Alovesdogs Actually he was strong enough to prove a competitor for Kakashi, all in all he is still a jounin and very strong, he just didnt use much of his power against them as he probably underestimated them.
