  • nice visuals to the song. Im impressed!

  • amazon sells the extended version of Raoul and the Kings which apparently has the rest of the B sides on it! I'm buying it!!!

  • Awesome images, could you give me the name of the 1st 2?

  • This song is heartwrenching, and never fails to bring on the tears....Thanks Sam, for a beautiful, breathtaking, visual treat. Well done!!

  • This song is heartwrenching, and never fails to bring on tears. Thanks Sam...You have done a tremendous job with the visuals!! God, they are breathtaking!!

  • this voice doesn't sound like roland ??

  • Thanx for posting this song. I am glad I found this great TFF song. Pretty good melancholic melody. Yupe, we can recognize Orzabal's deep emotions. A soft shadow to his primal scream pain. So true.....Time is all I crave, It comes in waves...I will be here until I drown....so well written. Keep the hurting going on Roland.

  • I so wish I could buy this song. Guess I'll have to stalk YT for my fix :(.

  • Yeah, this song is amazing, I wish it would last longer! Have to agree with @BeyondDreamTime

  • The best B-side ever, after M with Kent.

  • Man! I want to download this song :(...I dont see it on Amazon.

  • Beautiful ...thumbs up!

  • beautiful song ....

  • I'm a big TFF fan. I didn't fall in love with this on the first listen, but found it interesting enough to listen to again. It gets way better with each listen. Awesome song ^-^

  • Nice! Thanks for posting these TFF gems.

  • I can't believe I'm just now hearing this song. It's beautiful! Now, can anyone tell me where to get it?

    ~Stacey~

  • @LeosHouse Isn't it beautiful?!!! It's on the 2009 re-release of Raoul & the Kings of Spain. I know it's available on Amazon.

  • It seems to be about someone dying of AIDS...lungs filling from pneumonia, drowning...neglected and forgotten, alone. Very perceptive, empathetic.

  • this is one of a kind song probably like the rest of the songs that they have,im always been fan of them because there is a thing call genuinity and they are,im very glad that they got back together because that means more of their music so,im always been fan of the 80's and they are my favorit band tff,to sad that i try to go to see them but the tickets were sold out,i hope i get the chance to see them one day.

  • Que du bonheur!

    Merci Roland

  • Thank you for uploading this... Gasp. I listen to nearly everything, have my favourites spread across the entire spectrum, from DnB to classical. But damned if this particular Orzabal gem, combined with the imagery - every frame a piece of visual art in and of itself - didn't cut my breath clean off just now. In a weaker moment I will have wept... but that is a more personal story than I care to share... Blown off my even keel and wishing the song to last indefinitely... Hitting replay again.TY

  • @BeyondDreamTime , i agree 200% speacially when (i guess it's a minority) someone apreciates the good

froma a true musician/composer out of diferent musical genere's.

  • @BeyondDreamTime

I'm almost sure our stories are different, but the emotions that materialise through this song is truly overwhelming. Hitting the replay...again also.

  • Excellent

  • where i can get it please tell me web site plz

  • @borjjalo It's on the CD Raoul and the Kings of Spain that was released in 2009. I ordered it from Amazon.

  • @dem6854 can you send me by e-mail plz

  • @borjjalo Did you get my message?

  • @dem6854 no

  • @borjjalo I tried posting the link in the comments section of your profile, but it thought the post was spam.

  • @borjjalo I should have added that it's a re-release, and it's well worth getting for the extra songs.

  • great song love it

  • when Roland sings like that what can I do? He is so lovely and sweet...Repeat and repeat again, please!!

  • @vandalounge

    Vraiment très magnifique chanson!!!!!

  • Tears For Fears should take their B-sides and release a whole new CD. This song fades out and ends too quickly. It should repeat a verse and end with vocals only, no music and then stop. I dislike songs that fade out making it sound too 1970' ish. This song is beautiful though!

  • Everytime I listen to this Song I need to repeat it again and again...

  • ""This is a great song. For some reason the b-sides off of the TFF album "Raoul and the Kings of Spain" are all better than 80% of the songs that made it on the album."

its usually like this, especially with bands like Depeche mode, placebo etc..

  • This is very lovely, definitely should have been included on the album (though I do love the album as it is :) )

  • I'm putting the original music videos back on youtube since their vanishing and you can see more on my blog. the link is on my channel so click Godzilla23i

  • Too good for a b-side, but then: So are a lot of TFF-tracks.

Love the very sombre mood and the trumpet solo.

  • I love A-ha, but Tears For Fears is beautifull to!

  • beautiful song. i'll never understand why it was a b-side.

great video thank you for sharing.

  • Roland was effectively solo on that album. He needed Curt as his quality control advisor

  • @irskezvezdash

The album is Roland. They werent even speaking when RATKOS was made

  • thx a lot friend for this 'pious' upload ! tears for fears = masters of melody !

  • Why do their songs have to be so beautiful and haunting? Sigh!! If they ever came here I would be first in line.

  • Awesome song and video! :)

  • Love this song and the video =)

    Thank you!

  • such a great song, yes!!!
