A common misconception is that red necks are exclusive to the American South. Well i live in the deep south, but the redneckiest people ive ever met are from the rural West coast. Oregon and Washington. Red neck is an American sub culture not a strictly southern one.

In that "Nomadic Rednecks Roam Here" map, all of Montana should have been red. I have family in Eastern Montana. All of them ranch, or live in a small town near a lot of ranches and run local grocery stores, barber shops, and banks for everyone that ranches nearby.

in germany there aren't any real redneck stereotypes... maybe some guys would say, that in the rural regions of Bavaria some Rednecks are or even in Saxonia in the eastern parts of Germany.

In general, there aren't any so called "Rednecks" or redneck alike stereotypes... just regional Stereotypes like Ossis, Wessis, Berliner, Kölner, Fischköppe so on ^^

between, almost everybody in bavaria has an bavarian accent^^ some bavarians have a stronger accent than other bavarians but as a non-bavarian you still hear that he is from bavaria...
