  • Yeah...Rollins is the real thing. Thanks for the vid.

    Peace.

  • this guy has a buff neck....if he head butted you he'd knock you out into next year!

    Dont mess with HENRY ROLLINS!!!

  • Henry has always trained and enjoyed the gym

  • Rollins has balls to handle that cobra snake. bloody fuckin balls.

  • this song just causes adrenaline rushes to happen. i like.

  • rollins kick ass

  • when rollins band first started following the break up of black flag, was Greg Ginn in it?

  • No. During the last year Black Flag was together they toured with a band called Gone. When Henry put Rollins Band together he asked the bassist and drummer of gone to join him and asked his old DC friend Chris Haskett ( formerly of DC punk band the Enzymes ) to play guitar. Gone had previously played with Greg Ginn as the guitarist.

  • ooooooooh this is the best song from this guys!

  • Should get a load of their interpretation of Ghost Rider, which is available on The Crow soundtrack from the original first Brandon Lee crow movie.

  • How come they didn't put the original song in the video? I think this is the Ben Grosse remix featured on Yellow Blues. Although it's not all that different...

And I agree, perfect gym song 8)

  • 80% of typical human response 2 conflict is emotional reaction 20% resolution..if we don't change this pattern at least a bit we're eventually done for. Now to the video..H.R. has done alot with his opportunities gd.job! and when I get ready to detonate in life listening to his stuff is a good resolution to me doing something ignorant.Rollins has some strong stuff,delivery,power..a perfect subversive?there isn't one.Search and Destroy!(ignorance)He frickin rocks

  • his stuff is intelectual, yet pure... such calrity, focus, and ENERGY!!!

  • Don't forget: POWER

  • Indian musicians and 60's Fuzzboxes what a subversive collaboration....

  • I listen to this song every time I head to the gym. Gets me centered and focused.

  • Nice photography.

  • This isn't good at all, I'd rather listen to Rave Music.. Oh and if you don't get my joke, just youtube it.

  • ROLLINS is a GOD !!! Or is it part animal / part machine ?! The thinking man's rocker. U rule Henry. Get strong, go over, and GET SOME !!!

  • rollins is the fuckin truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HENRY ROLLINS IS AWESOME.

  • henry is amazing great song!!!

  • great song

    great video

    Thanks Henry

  • you muthafuckas dont even know WHAT THE FUCK HE IS TALKING ABOUT!!

  • i just have to say that this is defently better than black flag and greenday

  • you DARE to compare blackflag and henry rollins to GREENDAY? sorry dude but greenday aren't a real band

  • The rollins band rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Henry was on to something with this band, wish they were back tho.

  • his height is completely relevant to the point of the song!

  • HENRY ROLLINS! WOW ! (SAY NO MORE)

  • you doin your shit..somehow it feels like a sellout to the kids....i can produce you better. hard will not save you...the producers are idiots. didn't work. let's see what you really have....i have a hand. what do you have...live it up my friend... your sweetie ain't doin so well. the kids are too dumb.

  • Great video, great song, silly remix though. They really should have stuck with the original version off of GSGA. This Ben Grosse Remix version is awful.

  • Couldn't agree more. The Rollins + Mother Superior lineup is amazing. I've seen them 6 times in that format. The sound was incredible. However, Hank thought it was necessary to sport leather pants on BOTH LPs. What's up with that??

  • w.e hes henry rollins lol he can wear them if he wants and i wnt give a shit

  • OK fade2black, since I can't decipher your mysterious and cryptic response, I will interpret the best I can: you are turned by Henry in leather pants. Brings a whole new meaning to "get some go again." I'm happy to hear it worked out for you.

  • Way to be a complete dipshit buddy. If you were intelligent enough you would comprehend i was saying hes acomplished so much so he can wear whatever he wants and he'll still be awesome.....He's Henry Rollins.....Like Chuck Norris, pure awesomeness. Im turned on by you though, I like it when you insult me, watch out ill suck your dick dude.

  • Pure poetry. Brilliant.

  • I said watch out ill suck your dick dude.

  • This always reminds me to move to see new things to never stand still always with the urge

  • henry rollins is a demi-god

  • Very intense...sprawling culture exchange covered with reptiles, character and bass!

  • Went to one of his spoken word concerts a few years ago where he talked about a stay in India. His story about seeing a funeral pyre was intense. Made him appreciate how our bodies are just material vessels.

  • Best part is when he's playing with the Cobra!!!

  • I once read Rollins had a keen interest in snakes when he was een teenager, bringing them to school and all

  • dont remember where i go, how you can do it in india?

Here i gop thats henry rollins in India thats every mother fucker with a bit of money in India, been there done that, gonna go again as henry sais i meet the right people there and here in australia, i gonna bring them soon to bulgaria anyway henry is a god same here.

  • It isn't Cairo,It's Kolkatta,India on the Hoogli river.

  • If they every ACTUALLY make a good movie version of Resident Evil, they should cast Rollins as Chris Redfield. He would make a great Chris.

  • so good

  • What a cool video/song...

Looked like Henry was on the streets of Cairo. Seemed like the Ramadan backdrops (used to live there but I could be wrong)...

    Very, very cool video...

  • slopehead can rock, without spitting all over.

  • Rollins is still a musical force to be reckoned with!

Still prefer him with Black Flag, but this is kick ass too.

  • henry doesnt tea bag people he potatoe sacks them.

  • Thats fucking hilarious, should be on a T-shirt. Hell, I might get that made.

  • Wow awesome video and song!! I love how Henry Rollins puts himself in a far away difererent land almost the opposite of America. And walks through and expericences a foreign place. He is a unique artist of creativity and talent and he always fascinates me for what he does with his art. Big ups to you Henry!

  • I first saw Rollins Band in the late 90s...

I was 20-30 feet from the stage. Rollins looked right at/through me, and it was intimidating....I think I peed myself a little.

    /much respect for HENRY!

  • I saw this guy at the first Lollapalooza in Ohio. I didn't like him. Over time he has earned my respect. This is amazing.

  • The world is no longer our 'theme park'...

  • i love how one of the hardest mofo's on earth always tucks his t-shirt in.

    god love him

  • rollins is the fucking hardcore punk of the ages. Black Flag, Rollins Band, he kicks ass no matter what.

  • this is one kick ass spiritual manifesto

  • those lyrics are hardcore hank!!!

  • looks like a buff colin farrel

  • Mit Wayne Kramer an der Gitarre.

  • get some go again - superb album!!! 5 stars

  • Jup dann kann Ich Dir nur zustimmen!

Die Songs "Illumination", "Get some go again" und "Love so heavy" welche sich auf dem Album befinden sind einfach der Burner!

  • good song

  • ...I wish I didnt know what I know now...

Words to live by. Simple but huge.

  • how r those words 2 live by

  • Peter Christopherson? Like Sleazy?

  • Rollins and Mother Superior.... I want new shit from you. Rollins is everything metal wishes it could be.

  • Catchin' that Heart-O-Darkness, Apocalypse Now vibe...

  • I've never heard this mixed intro before. I got this album the first week it came out. When did they do this version of it?

  • rollins is back again ! :)

  • is rollins back or what?

  • unfortunately not. it´s 8 years old

  • Woah ^^

  • Well this isn't exactly techno, this is a very clever crossover. Rollins still evolving.

I am not surprised about this.

  • we are listening to illumination... Evolution

  • Its a remix, He has a live band behind him Mother Superior. He has real lyrics, real instruments and its not a repetitive obnoxious sound being repeated for three minutes at a time. This is a actual song.

  • I am just getting chills all over my body listening to this!

  • lol good chills or the bad ones?

  • Mother Superior kick ass on this! I remember seeing this live on some public television show and having my ass kicked. I was already a Rollins Band fan from the earlier albums, but hadn't heard them in a while. I started watching the show and noticed his whole band was different, like a classic rock trio. When the broke into this song,my jaw dropped!

I've come to really respect Henry Rollins, too. I echo his take on the world, respect for art, discovery, enlightenment and honesty.

  • ver cool indeed, great drumming too!!

  • Im not always the biggest fan of him musically all the time but he does have a few fantastic videos.

Theres areas in this song that are like Hendrix Hardcore or something!

  • This is the first tight, interesting, innovative jam I've heard from Henry in a while.

Maybe i just wasn't listening, but whatever, now I'm diggin Henry's music again.

  • I actually prefer Rollins Band over Black Flag. I prefer Danzig over Misfits as well.

  • Yeh i like the new sound to, but you gotta admit there are somereally good black flag songs to though

  • Although I prefer his work with Black Flag- Henry Rollins still delivers when you see him live!

  • you havent seen the black coffee video yet huh

  • Illumination comes so hard, but it`s worth it!

  • wow calling civilians third world shitbags im sure henry would have something to say about that

  • Can anyone advise me which Rollins Band album to get?

I'm particularly keen of the spoken word...hardcore chorus...spoken word...hardcore chorus dynamic.

Be objective though, you know? Don't give me one that everyone else hated but you thought was misunderstood.

  • Weight.

Amazing album, though Go Get Some Again (the album with this song) is also very good.

  • Yes I agree WEIGHT is a beaut.

  • THE END OF SILENCE is also a must have in my opinion.

  • wow, um this a great song, i dont know what the hell these other wackos are talking about.

  • No shit! Nobody said it was rap. Retards, Attempting, Poetry! I do like the late 80's and early 90's Hip-Hop btw like Rakim, KRS-One, P.E., Kool G Rap, and some others. Anyway, this is HANK! Rollins kicks ass.

  • this isn't rap!

  • you sure? isn't this wu tang? Henry was in Wu Tang I know that for sure.

  • dobra muza bo nie dla kazdego

  • you know rap is the big thing right now if

the rappers would get there fucking heads out of there own asses and stop worrying about money pussy and clothing and start rapping about world hunger or illiteracy in children they would cease to be useless no i'm not a racist my dad is black and cherokee but thats nether here nor there thing is the pop-culture is all about being skinny and having a lot of money and being perfect lets all be like rollins and make sense

  • not all rap is obsessed with the trappings of wealth and fame, just the mainstream stuff. if you dig around you can find plenty of educated rappers. however it's sad that you have to hunt at all to find the poets in the garbage.

  • Hey hey you 2, there is SOME pretty decent rap out there nowdays, you just got to look for it. Eminem is a good example.

  • for example RJD2 or Dalek

  • if you look at some of the legendary rappers like tupac, nas, and the furious five, you get into some of those issues, for sure. i wouldn't blame the rappers, though, because a lot just do it for the money... just like corporations. it's ultimately the consumers' own fault that things are the way they are.

  • I agree man, I've become really disullusioned with hip-hop.

Someone like Rollins just seems so fucking sane and grown-up.

  • Hey my name is rollins

    hahahahaha

    but siriously

  • I call bullshit on that one olmstedr, see this is what I cannot stand people know this is anonymous, so they pretend to be the artists we love. GET A DAMN LIFE!!!

  • Henry Rollins said once said that the problem with modern metal/rock is that it's lost that 'hate, fuck, kill, destroy' feeling that old metal like rollins band, pantera, nine inch nails, motorhead etc used to have. Modern metal like killswitch engage and bullet for my valentine just lack balls and guts. They're too watery and commercial. The only one who comes close to 'proper' metal is rammstein.

  • yeah old rock was was cooler than nowadays, new rock is shit rock it just sucks, no soul to it whatsoever, just like pop music now

  • The kids today and music want to be part of the pop world...commercial.All the old bands like metal/hardcore punk were never commercial, and they were from the streets and real. These kids are fake, and brainwashed by the pop culture and Hottopic.

  • This tune's got magic, Heavy and real, maybe it's real heavy, maybe I'm just thinkin too deep, maybe I'll just say this tune gets better and better every time I relisten to it.

  • Henry is HOT all the time baby! I dont care if he's singin Come On Eileen and wearin' a fkn tutu!! An amazing man. Amazing mind. LOVE ya HANK!

  • I'll take your word on the hot part, but Come on Eileen.....Wow, So apparently I'm not the only person to grow up in the 80's cursed with that particular song ,in any way, still wasting space in their neurons.

  • Haha!!....funny. But Ill tell ya the truth...and Im not ashamed to admit this !...I like that song! Its fun. Picks ya up. Its strangely addictive. ...but yes....still wasting space in our neurons...( that was good!) ..and I have just ruined my tuff street-wise/punk/dark-loner/introverted neo-beatnik persona...........whatever that means......hee hee.

  • keep on running...

  • Henry Rollins really looks like a dork in this video. He used to be so bad ass. But the song was cool and went well with the video overall. I like the theme of the song and video as well.

  • Nah. You idiots. This video was directed by Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson, ex of art fags Hipgnosis, Throbbing Gristle and fucking Coil. Any accusations of selling out need to be terminated. Now. Hank was lucky to get that talent involved with this. Good video.

  • Yeah buddy, like you`re so wasted.

  • *insert sarcasm now* Maybe he is trying to be punk rock

  • I suppose Jim Morrison was a "fag", too.........

  • if i was born in a ile of shit i would throw it at anyone who disses the last boy scout to, bless henry

  • Rollins is a legend. If I were born in a pile of money, I'd use that money to slap the shit out of anyone who spoke poorly of him. The man's a beast.

  • "grunge is heartcore"

WHAT? Are you fucking kidding me? this is nothing more than rock 'n roll. A lot better than 99.9% of the shit that is forced on bovine Americans these days.

  • Thought he was going to eat that snake!

  • it´s hard dudes.good

  • That was a compliment retard, maybe you need to scroll down one and run yer yap to the dweeb below me, BTW I like Rollin's video game cameo's too Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter was good, kneel before the Light

  • This video is great, Henry has well expressed his deep experiences while travelling in India, especially Kolkata. I lived there for 10 years. I'm also a former hardcore screamer and this video is great.

  • Not a big fan of Rollins music, but I like Henry Rollins the dude, and this particular song is an exception, This Song has the Vibe of Knowing

  • I don't know.

  • arnold schwarzenegger

  • and I think yer both off, if he looks like anybody, it's Rudolf Hess, look at the eyes, brow, cheeks, Rollins has a stronger chin though, less Slavic

  • Go back to N'sync, ya Pussy.

  • Had almost forgotten Rollins Band, its good that i rediscovered this faboulos band!!!

    Moopeet

  • Get Some Go Again

  • I am a huge fan of henry, however, he is sporting leather pants in this video. I like how he uses the cobra fighting pic in Smile You're Traveling.

  • thats right grunge is heartcore and this music is short haired freaks.

  • Why are you even on this page then? Go take a shower, you grungy nigger, and go listen to your trash. Rollins owns.

  • ya'll got cobs yup yer asses don't cha!!! were you there back then when posers were introduced to drugs just to get them out of the way so real people could move forward and make something of them selves? I bet not...

  • I think Henry has a window into my soul...almost every song reminds me of something or someone in my life. It's un-real.

  • I wish Henry Rollins was my Dad lol,...

  • He Fights a Fucking Cobra for shit sake!!!

  • Henry Rollins used to come to Australia like once or twice a year in the 90's and I'd always say "Ah yeah I'll catch him next time" Stupid slacker me never got to see him live.

  • Self made artist in the purest sense, incredible.

  • pure heavy metal falling from the sky! 5 stars

  • the band in this videoclip is called Mother Superior and they are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

  • they're ok, but looking at the details up on the top right, its obvious that universal don't give a fuck about checking into their bands, chris and sim? wtf

  • I wonder if the cobra was de-fanged?

  • Henry Rollons did best singing for hardcore punk band Black Flag, his show is good because its opened minded to all kinds of guests, his stand up is funny, he wrote a book, hes an actor, but best of all Henry Rollons is another punk legend and should always be rememberd for that ALWAYS, and for those of you who are barly being introduced to henry, and know nothing of black flag and henrys part in the band, shame on you, shame on you FAGGETS

  • Many people knew Henry long before Black Flag, so can they call you a fag? I hate it when people claim- well I knew him first. Who gives a shit? I remember Black Flag, It's cool the young guys are discovering him.

  • you punk rocker. you rebel. homophobia is the lowest form of abuse.

  • Dude, some Rollins fan - you can't spell his name. Also, he's a massive supporter of gay rights and would probably be inclined to take you the fuck out for ending your post the way you did.

  • I do believe that you are an uneducated faggot yourself. I have been listening to Black Flag for a lot of years now and still don't understand the mentality of faggots like yourself that put down others that are discovering the joys of Black Flag and Rollins in general.I bet you are still being breastfed by your Dad while he sucks on your Mum's dick, punk! REBELYOUTHPUNK, IS A HARD CORE FAG, Thanks for your time.

  • Henry Rollins is the sort of guy who just looks like he's about to ruin your ****.

  • If I met Rollins in a dark alley, I think I'd feel relieved and safer. He's a straight shooter, as far as I know. Shoulda been a Paladin

  • Rollins is cool as hell. Has anyone heard that story about him and his buddy getting robbed? He got away, but his buddy was shot to death.

  • good old enry. saw him and mother superior in the paradiso in a'dam, then went straight out and bought the album. doesnt compare 2 weight, but then again not much does!

  • Henry Rollins ROCKS. Loved him all the way back to Liar!!

  • May god forbid that a musician doesn't have a slim drug fucked body.

    Get out.

  • A muscle-bound Henry stalks the streets of India. Nice.

  • I would not want to be a republican in a dark alley with Henry Rollins.

  • henrys not a faggoty hardcore liberal btw

  • I wouldn't want to be in a dark alley with Henry Rollins, PERIOD.

  • OMG! I can't believe how the people lives with that form of life... so hard!

That people are god if they got more than 60 years living in that place :S!

  • enigma...bro, i wouldn't be taking...i mean you have britney spears favorited...LMFAO!!

  • lol hey enigma, who are you to judge bitch, I'll stop callin you a fag when your video gets on youtube with more than 15,000 views!

  • Presence
