THESE PEOPLE RUNNING FOR OFFICE ARE FORGETTING WHO PUT THEM IN OFFICE THE PEOPLE THAT CAN NOT THROW MONEY AT THEM , BUT STILL WANTS CUSTOMER SERVICE PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEO "JEFF AND JERAMIE AND HEAR MY STORY AND GIVE SEN. TOM UDALL OF NEW MEXICO A SHOUT THAT HE IS NOT FAIR TO THE LITTLE GUY THANK YOU!!
There is way too much wishful thinking going on in this video.
1. The corporatist conservatives outnumber the genuine conservatives, so no further audit of the Fed.
2. The new Super PACs that Citizens United created are favoring the GOP over Obama by outstanding numbers, the GOP has raised millions to Obama's thousands. So there is no way the Reps will stop a system that favors them.
3. Despite Adelson's money (Newt's sugar daddy), Romney will win, also the GOP has no problem with oligarchs.
@lapugenero Yes, the Obama campaign has raised more than the Romney campaign. But the independent Super PACs are favoring the GOP by outstanding margins. Look at the New York Times camping finance section on their website.
Even if CU helped progressives that would be beside the point. I dont care if something bad helps me. I want a more fair chance for all sides. What helps me now can hurt me later.
Mr. Kelley is wrong. Money does win campaigns (the winner is almost always the person who raises the most) and does make things stop (regulations spring to mind).
@DoggyHateFire How do you know money is not a reflection of voter support? Isn't it possible you are confusing cause and effect? That is, high voter support causes the effect of more money being raised, rather than the reverse. So money doesn't win campaigns -- campaigns win money. And votes win campaigns.
Plus the paid advertising is often going to alternative media, which usually does not toe the party line at all.I would bet that at least half the advertising on this very video is the result of Citizens United.

@dangerouslytalented You mean the large amount of conservative commercials that seem to be all I see on youtube videos now?
Quite irritating.

@waltermh111 Yep, I bet a massive amount of the funding for all the liberal youtube channels is now coming directly from the Koch brothers.
