@driftkidd94 Just letting you know, Smart Cars would not be able to handle high speeds. Any car with a short wheel base does not handle speed well, and the shape of that stupid car would just be trouble knocking on the window. Plus if you were that rich and you wanted a fast "go-kart" get a Lotus and put some extra power in it. I'd see that as a better choice. =)

@TheAssass1n Wrong. Many have converted smarts with the hayabusa engine. To improve handling they dropped the suspension, added a widebody and wide tires, and wings for downforce.

It works out well, just check out videos of race converted smart haybusas.

I SAID short wheel base dont handle high speeds<<< Longer cars can go faster than shorter wheel based cars because they stay true to their line at speed. wider cars can handle better yes, but thats not what i said. Even still you'd get more power out of a Lotus and for the money and return later on.

I might do it in 2009 in my 69 Charger R/T like it has 500hp and tops at 185mph but to transport it from ireland to the usa is pretty expensive.
