ok, i have AA1 150L hl1 (andf mods cs:cz, the specialist ect) runs on fedora 10 (with wine on software acceleration ofc)i tried hl2 ep2 tf2 portal - it works till the main menu , the game cant start :P

I got portal to run on my AA1! ..well sort of ;)

Just set the screen resolution to 1024x768, start in window mode and the game will work fine if you stay away from the first portal! :D

if you want to play half life 1 its fine out of the box but counterstrike source will be a tuffy to run unless its with a texture map but even then you will have to upgrade ram if your looking to play games get an asus n10j laptop it has a 10.2 inch screen.. cool, I have been wanting to test cs 1.6 on the aspire one.

I'm running Vista Ultimate on the SSD of the Aspire one, with 1.5gb ram. When I have the time, I will swap for a 1.8" zif drive and will try some games.

it would be super to play games like aoe III, etc. on this.

as far as installing, one can just use the steam account :) I havent used a cd for steam games for years. I guess it could also be installed on a USB stick or a fast sd card.
