This looks still like an egg. I "tried" it today and I was unable to find pieces bigger than few milimeters. It took me almost two hours to clean the kitchen, just twenty minutes to scratch brown dots off from the ceiling.

i dont know and then i accidently left it on for 2 mins.then i took it out it was not cold at all.when i got to my plate i was gonna put in the plate then it really just started burning.so i droped it about 2 in. high and then it stayed in the bowl about ten seconds then it explodeds
It exploded because the eggs are hot, and when you put in water cooler than the eggs, especially cold water, the temperature difference makes it sort of "combust". That's all I know. You could ask one of the science channels on YouTube.
lol my dad sort of did this... he fell asleep and all the water was gone when he woke up, so he put water in the pot and they all blew up, it was awesome!
