Also he rides the bolt forward in loading some of the weapons. You dont need to be gentle with the weapons. Its steel! its meant to handle beating. Slap the magazine in the lower receiver to insure that the rounds are loaded. pull back the charging handle and release geeez

The semi auto models were re designated the M1a rifles because it was discovered the full auto with the heavy recoil made it really ineffective and began making them semi auto only. Also you can purchase full auto m14 EBRs, its just a full auto m14 dropped into an EBR body.
