One of the best fights in wow imo. just the kind of fight were everyone has to be perfect, well at least a tank and a healer lol....I did that once, everyone died the first dance but the mt and me (the main healer) and about thirty minutes later we killed him, it was both awesome and awful, just both of us being perfect for the whole fight, doing an incredibly tedious task while everyone else yelled at us to just die, but we thought we should punish them for sucking, kinda punishing both though

The achievement's actually for no one dying during the fight. You can survive the single hit on the edge if ya don't quite make it all the way, but if you're deeper inside the blast you get nailed several times which generally doesn't end well.

The main damage output from the Heigan fight isn't from him; it's from the lava bursts on the floor. He really does fuckall for damage himself. Heigan's good at ballet, not hitting people. :D

You tank him on the platform on one corner, and the caster stand on the other. People are going to get a debuff no matter what, just cleanse it, you lazy ass healers. The ranged stands on the adjacent corner, so they don't get his ranged debuff. That's what makes it possible--it's not like the tank is standing on top of the healers doing it.

first of all, its not a disease. Secondly, priests cannot cure disease. Its an incurable debuff.

Priests are capable of curing diseases, my priest not only has cure disease but abolish disease, which is a cure over time type deal.

As far as the debuff goes, it's a disease called decrepit fever, applied to a random player that does 3,000 nature damage every 3 seconds and reduces the maximum HP of every player within 20 yards by 50%

Try doing a little googling next time, save yourself from looking like a fool ;c

The method you described can be used on ten man naxx, because his spell disruption aura is only 20 yards. However on 25 man naxx the aura's range is increased to 30 yards and encompasses the entire platform. The aura increases all spell casting times by 300%, rendering casters and healers ineffective. Also, since it is an aura cleansing is not an option, as any time the healers may remove it (mass dispel?), it will just be reapplied.

Alright, man, I appreciate the sincerity and respect, but my guild (Silent Force--Mug'Thol server) downs this guy in like 5 minutes by tanking him on the platform. You only have to worry about one dance and its a piece of cake.

And you don't exactly tank him on the platform-- you keep him in the lava area so that melee deeps can hit him from the platform. Lol, trust me it seriously works.

The Heigan dance is one of my most favourite encounters, even if ALWAYS there are some movement-cripples that always die....and since 3 weeks i'm hearing this track when we're killing heigan and it makes the encounter a lot more difficult if you're laughing your ass off all the time =D

Last night was my second time doing this and I discovered a way to do this easily. Use this video as a referance to what I say. Make sure the platoform is in view and use certain parts of it as visual markers. For instance, off to the left side of the platoform is zone 1. Next, run to zone 2 and line yourself up with the left side of platform. Zone 3 is lining yourself up with the right side of the platform. Zone 4 is running off to the right of the platform. And then back to zone 3 and 2 and 1.
