    Cheers!

  • a hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • You're such a drag. The whole series describes the lives and philosophies of a range of characters with wit and lack of pretension and all you can do is moan about a joke about Romford.

    C'mon. Let it go!!! :-)

  • Yes but luckily enough we are normally able to have a laugh about ourselves here and not to take sarcastic generalisations too seriously.

    Well, maybe not in Essex.

  • Yes I seem to recall Romford got a hard time in the TV series Chelmsford 123

It must be a English in-joke thing.

  • @fjordland Filthy place, given a yet worse name by chavs and knuckle dragging BNP scum.

  • @fjordland

I think it is a reference to teenage age pregnancy rates in Romford. It's probably irrelavent now. As you have no doubt gathered Mark wrote this specifically for a British audience so there are quite a few cultural references that make little sense to folks outside the UK. To be honest the Romford reference didn't mean anything to me either, but my town once held the record for rate of teenage pregnancies, so I got it straight away.

  • @TheGodlessGuitarist The Doomsday book contains a reference to man of Essex who went by the name of Roger God Save the Ladies.

  • this is fun furious and bloody interesting! Great stuff

  • Interesting that some of the best science fiction writers are women, But ironically science fiction is still considered a geeky nerdy man's genre.

  • @Gringoman911 same applies to: guitarists- jimi hendrix rappers- eminem golf- tiger woods motor racing-lewis hamilton british sports (tennis,cricket,football)- anyone not british rugby -anyone not welsh cooking-anyone not a woman sexual vulgarity- women quantity on one side ensures quality on the other I suppose (yes it's a late reply, that's what youtube's all about!)
  • @Gringoman911 you sir must be joking HAHA thanks for the laugh my good sir
