He is VERY well known for his crazy low passes that are this low and believe it or not even lower. He currently is flying a MIG-17 for an airshow team called the Black Diamonds)
Thats how 'we' won the war? You mean the Allies.right? The P51 was without doubt the best fighter of WW2. Thanks to the British who out of desparation took the original 'lame duck' mustang, which the US military rejected and chucked out the Allison engine and bolted a RR merlin in it.
@mbt313 hahahah.. hell yea !!! My mate has a P51.. awsome plane, you can fly it right down to the deck and know where the limits are without being in danger. Thats how we won the war :)

That low pass has nothing to do with how a P-51 flies, and yeah I've ridden in one. A pilot can do careless things in a Cessna. In this case, I agree with kcirdrab that this was careless and a wingtip or propstrike away from causing injury or death. My interests in P-51s goes back 25 years and the statistics are full of dead pilots who weren't as good as they thought they were with a shiny new toy. That stats were so bad that Stallion 51 in FL offers training for new owners.
