This really does nt look like they did it right. Watch people who can act try Becket on film 2001 the best I have seen of this they make it real not silly.

Many people think of it as a comedy, but for me it's the saddest and most devastating play I've ever read and seen. This trailer fits perfectly.

This trailer is absolutely horrific. I'm sure the production was wonderful, but the dramatic music in the background and the spoke interludes are annoying beyond words, it makes it seem more like a soap opera than an Absurdist comedy.

The great missed opportunity was failing to do a DVD of the original McKellen / Stewart version. What a shame.

Saw this last night. Over 35 years of Theatregoing, I reckon I saw one of the greatest performances ever-Matthew Kelly is staggering in this. Mesmerising performance by all.

I love this! Just like the play, it's quirky and sad. Watched it over and Matthew Kelly is gross (in a good way). What great actors they all are!
Makes you really want to see the play.
