This car isn't -99, more like 97 or 98. There are different headlights and rearspoiler in a true 1999 3000GT. Just a comment, I looked this up 'cos I just love the design of the 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT. It's propably the best looking car ever, in my mind at least.

And the awd of these vehicles is as close to rwd as needed, if considering the handling. It's easy to powerslide through corners due to the finely tuned easy-to-control oversteering characteristics, if that's what you want. Especially in the winter time here in Finland!

Its such a pity that the 4wd transmission is so weak on these cars. They coul have been a cool car but in reality they cant be driven how they were intended to be as the transmission is so very very weak.
WTF are you talking about? These trannys are incrtedibly stout, the gears are unbreakable. Only things you have to do is upgrade your output shaft to a 300M and on a 5 speed get a tcase bracket, and on a 6 speed a bellhousing brace. Only having to spend $800 to make a bulletproof driveline. Thats far from weak. Matt M's car runs 8s with the 6 speed with a 300M Output Shaft and Bellhousing Brace.

3000gt would not eat any evo stock,lol, i have a GTO v6TT (3000gt vr-4 equaivilant here in aus) and it would be rather close, the 3000gt/GTO weighs 1700 kg and is now a 15yo car (for the 92 model) it really depends which year 3000gt and evo, 94 onwards has a getrag 6spd in it which helps, but there still fat bastards
gto twin turbo have 281 hp import car from japan, 3000gts twin turbos have bigger turbos and they have 320 hp they are faster on straight roads than standard evos or smelly stis
3000gt's stock will still smoke alot of cars around but make some mods, exhaust, intake, cams, headers, wires, little shit adds up, maybe 50 shot of nitrous. check my shit out.

i mean ya its ok but you gotta look at some facts.
1. its heavy, the thing is 3500 lbs if not more.
2. its front wheel drive... FRONT WHEEL DRIVE.... no traction and little control at high speeds.
3. the only way to get performance control and to counter balance the weight is for it to be all wheel drive....
other then dat ya nice car and it does have a pretty damn big trunk.
