Flight 1549 on Tuesday, January 13th may have indeed had such issues, however, those issues do not make what happened with flight 1549 on Thursday January 15th any less of a miracle. If a plane was Deemed "Damaged" in any way, it would not be allowed to leave a Gate with Passengers. But you may not have known that. Pilots Walk the Entire plane Before they get in the Cockpit for Each FLight. Captain Sully is a Hero because he made split second decisions, preventing a catastrophic crash. Doctors who save you from bleeding to death after amputating the wrong leg are nothing short of and incompetent.
