  • Please don't cut your hair! It's gorgeous! Your hair curls beautiful!

  • It looks beautiful to me... did you want your hair to be weighed down? You have soo much volume, you should be thankful so many people want that volume!!

  • u r right the kk didnt work for your hair, but i do think you have beautiful hair anyway !

  • do you feel because you did not use the product correct you got the results you have

  • Your hair looks beautiful.

  • @naturalhairgoddess try Eco styler gel, and use a good amout. There are videos on youtube..message me, and I can give you some info.

  • Looks better

  • Your hair is GORGEOUS.

  • I THINK ITS PRETTY.... I LOVE THE STYLES...

  • Your hair is soooooooooooooooo pretty, and so are you!

  • my hair is extra thick like yours and Kinky Curly did something similar .. I heard Mazani has a product thats good for this kinda style ; and KC makes my hair dry and gooy ... thanks for the video ! im not alone lol

  • What are u talking about. I love your curl pattern.I think you forgot to drench your hair with water.

  • OMGGGGGG I Have The Same Problem when i apply the kccc i dnt know if im just doing it wrong or if its just my hair because i've been watching videos on how to apply it and i just can't get it :(

  • u should use a difuser on low heat. Also after u rake the product thru your hair u should scrunch it . That might help define curl better in the front of your head.....Your hair is so pretty dont cut it.

  • Your hair is beautiful - try other products (maybe coconut milk) - don't cut! : )

  • I use it in my 5 year old's hair and it looks great. However, I don't like it at all in my 7 year old's hair. Just proves that different products work for different hair types.

  • ur hair is probly really curlier then is is right now but you probly have heat damaged hair, which happens eather when you straighten your hair to much or when you straighten it with to much heat which causes your hair to burn and altimatly your curls get permantly straight or straighter that is what happened to me. to get ride of it you have to either cut all your hair off, of trim it every two months without straighting it until all the damaged hair is gone.

  • Hi, u mentioned a mohawk bantu knot video. I saw the side pic of it on ur channel page. Do u think u could post the video? I would soooo love to try it. Thanks ans great vid! FYI Kingky curly doesnt work great for me eitther!

  • @1hairjourney Yes you are correct, however, that video is gone due to my hard drive crashing. I will make another one though.

  • but it looks nice.

  • your applying it wrong it supposed to be drip and wet

  • Your hair wasn't dry yet. It will look different when dry. I use a different product that might work for you. Its called thick n shine from fantasia. Its black gel and if you use too much it will be crunchy (so don't) I get about 2-3 days using it. Its hard to work with long hair. I had hair that reached mid-back when I stretched it out. I understand the frustration

  • @justme3062000 I use thick and shine for my edges. I don't really like to use brown gel in my hair and especially not to define my curls. Thanks for your help though.

  • do u ge tthe same type of result with the miss jessies?

  • y dont u try clumping ur curly while using kinky curly. that may work it will allow urcurls to pop more and clump. jus imo

  • I love your hair natural. Especially when you played around with it and styled it after a while. You are so beautiful with the natural hair.

  • LOL, your too funny and yeh you do remind me of myself too if you look at my youtube profile you will see my hair!! Now imagine having that big poof ball!! LOL

  • Great curl pattern!

  • I can't do Wash and Go's, Kinky Curly Neither.....

I hope You didn't cut Your Beautiful Hair cause it didn't take....

  • i really dont think the product is the problem...your not comfortable with your hair the way it is. i love your hair!!! its so beautiful natural like that!

  • I have the same type of hair, so I feel your frustration. But your pictures are awesome! Your hair looks gorgeous to me. I had the front of my hair braided and I am going to try the Kinky Curly today. The flat braids in front limit the styling options but it makes it for a nice wash'n'go for the summer. I'll let you know how it come out!

  • You have a great curl pattern. I hope you didn't cut your hair. It takes a while sometimes to find the product that works best for you. You would probably like Oyin Handmade products. A cheap product that you try is eco styler gel.

  • ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS BRUSH YOUR HAIR IN THE FRONT PIN IT UP WIT A CUTE PIN ON ONE SIDE LEAVE ONE DOEN CUTE LIKE YOUR PIXZ ANDOR GETS SOME FLAT TWISTS AND LEAVE THE BACK CURLY IT LOOKS BEETTER WITH OUT YOU TWISTING IT TOO :]]

  • I Like it! your hair is pretty just mess wit the frint like u did dont cut it!!!

  • have you tried the ECO styler Gel?

  • It's because the front of your hair's nearly straight. Throwing the front bit up is a good idea. Sorry it hasn't workied like you wanted it. You do have lovely hair though!

  • My hair looks EXACTLY like yours, even down to the straighter pieces in the front and the length. Like baby22phat I feel like I'm watching myself in this video. I am so frustrated with my hair right now! I feel like my only option is to put it in a ponytail or press it.

  • I'm so glad to see someone with my exact same hair type have the same results as myself with this product. My hair seems to always look like a strung out Jheri Curl no matter what I do. I actually get regular trims and keep my hair healthy. I guess it has to do with our hair texture and cut. I wish I could do a wet and go and it looks like some of the other women on the you tube videos, but I can't seem to get it right.

  • BTW it still looks cute!

  • Oh I see, the heat must have messed up your curls. I can't wait to see your results once your hair grows back in.

  • try mixed chicks! it works very well!

  • I love your honesty with this.. I'm going through the same issues.. I think I need a haircut ..you turned yours into a cute style though. :)

  • Hang in there i got the same prob. lol watch a kinky tutorial video ma i wanna see u get it right

  • my curl pattern got jacked up as well from constant straightening, I literally just chopped half my hair off in to a crop yesterday because of my frustration!

  • I love this video..i feel like im looking at myself...I have the same problem and i hate it...I always grab my ez-comb to pull my hair back...hahaha....I feel less alone NOW!!! great honest video.....

  • @baby22phat Yes, I like to be honest cause you never know who's going through the same thing you are. I love to help others, especially from making the same mistake I made.

  • @baby22phat aahhh me too! i have a mix of the heat damage stringy gotta scrunch mixed with this going on.. i dont know what the deal is though? do you rinse with cold water though? I mean ice cold.. cuz that changes texture completely i promise you. curls will have a different pattern completely than rinsing warm

  • you're crazy. your hair is beautiful!!..lol

  • @gad4lyfe Awe. Thank you, but I did get it cut in layers and it was pretty straightened out.

  • I think long layers would be a good option. With curly/coily hair I think layers look better. It really helped mine to look better. All one length just doesn't give me the look I desired. I receive more compliments too.

  • Why do u wish to cut it? I think it looks fab.

  • I understand your frustration, and I had the exact same issue with my hair. It was all one length, and had a lot of weight, so I got it cut into layers, which gave it more volume & made my curls more coily. Although it has grown out some, I am still pleased with the layers.

  • i think you're 3C/4A but with a tight wave pattern....i'm interested in the angle balanced cut b/c my hair needs something too! Products like this don't work right after a certain length.

  • @NaturalNstinct Thanks, I forgot that in order to be able to tell your hair type, your hair has to be wet and product free.

  • @naturalhairgoddess now you tell me lol jk tomorrow when I bc i guess i will know my hair type because i always thought when it was dry you should know

  • before you get the BIG chop i think you should get it cut in an angle balanced cut. like a cute layered style .

  • I was just thinking of that, cause it's more so the front than the back that is damaged. Thanks for the tip!

  • Thank you! I tried and succeeded with styling it instead of letting it hang.

  • The finished product actually looks cute! You are gorgeous! So is your daughter! :)
