Wow, I wasted my fucking time getting the documents together to show that 5/3rd crooks stole money from us with this crap. I got my check today by the way, and guess how much I got back, a whole $27.56. Yeah, all the money went to lawyers, obviously. The bank probably does this on purpose because they know they can make more money on doing things illegal than they will have to pay back on the settlement for doing the illegal deed. Fuck em all.
yes, i have NOTICED that sometimes you must MAKE A POINT to call these lawyers to get your share after the settlement (in addition to sending in your claim) ... but they will give you your due portion if you chase them down (or they have in the past with other cases).. maybe we need somebody to do a class action versus the lawyers who do class actions but don't pay up..ha ha...but even if they don't pay up, at least my bank (old bank) is paying up... everybody gets their due, in due time..

Have you heard anything recently about the case because I know they held the hearing on march 16, 2011?

I haven't heard anything.. as the comment below suggests..you may have to follow up to collect... let's hope the lawyers give us our small share...

in class action lawsuits, 99% goes to lawyers, 1% to the consumer, so best wishes in getting your money :'(
