  • I like your moves

  • i could have sworn i saw Darth Vader clapping somewhere in the corner

  • very nice

  • i still think wing chun fist is faster no wait it is faster

  • Can someone tell me please, what is Wu Xing Dao? Or link a homepage, coz i think google isn't my friend! :)

  • ridicolous

  • he is fast but only western mentality would even think in this term "world's fastest tai chi"

  • Pretty good!

Ther faster then this fir sure

  • its a blood air theory internal kung fu

  • reminds me of a form that jet li preformed

  • when was tai chi supposed to be fast?

  • do you feel the music?

  • nice Dude xD

  • use the force Marko, use the force

  • @cgbaltar, Its the power of the Shwartz.

  • Not bad, but definitely not the fastest i've ever seen, not to say i wasn't impressed, his skill clearly shows mastery; just saying, not worthy of the title "World's Fastest Tai Chi".

  • wtf star wars kid my ass this is someone who trained for years and years this is amazing... if you know nothing about it, your not aloud to critisize it...

  • try li lian fast form for true fast form tai chi

  • fast (British pronunciation) ? farce ? Cheng's Practical Taiji (of Cheng Tian-xiong or Cheng Tin-hung) is really fast !

  • now THAT was cool

  • this is funny itz like the star wars kid

  • i dont think it was all that fast...ey thats my opinion, myyyyy...opinion

  • Calvin, the video is significant because it shows how powerful the strikes you see within the forms can be... If he were to slow this down, it'd be just another boring form to the majority of people's eyes. Hopefully a few will look at this and realize that in a real situation, the internal arts are meant to be explosive like this - and he does a great job of that in the demo. I'm sure he could do it faster if he chose, and I'd guess he can't count how many times he did this painfully slow...

  • too slow, try cheng man ching tai chi now that is fast.

  • that practice pole thing in the back ground with the little prings sticking out of it, where can i get one? i like it cause its small and can fit in my room

  • Not sure what it is (I can't recall ever seeing one) but if I had to guess, I'd say it's a) a coat rack or b) some sort of customized version of a Mook Jong ("wooden dummy"). A Mook Jong might be thought of as a punching bag hewn from hardwood with simulated human limbs attached. Tradtionally, they have only been used by practitioners of Wing Chun kung fu to develop key skills and techniques like punching, trapping, low kicks, footwork, and shifting the angle of attacks.,

  • @usergreg1498

Not true, there are wooden dummies and wooden dummies, depending on stile. Some are like the Wing Chun (Tsun) version, some have parts that rotate, some have 4 arms, and some are like that thing...

The most basic kind is probably the makewara used in karate, just a pole with some rope wrapped around.

I mean, it's not like the WC guys invented shoving a pole i the ground, adding some "arms" on it and hitting it really hard :)

  • @usergreg1498 Choy Lat Fut also has a wooden dummy. It's a slightly different design. Thre's also an iron dummy from Hong family style. Modern Jeet Kunne do practicioners also use a wooden dummy skightly modified from the traditional Wing Chun one.

  • WOW!

  • what's that style ?

  • It's a combination of Chen Tai Chi and Wu Xing Dao.

  • why do you feel the need to mix Chen Style with anything? are you the guy in the clip? If so liked your article in Blitz magazine. Peace

  • Marko has both mastered Chen Style Tai Chi and is the master of Wu Xing Dao.

What he teaches isn't a MIX of Chen Tai Chi and WXD, they are two separate things. I think in this demo he is trying to show how fluid, fast and powerful tai chi can be when the form is broken down and it is done in free movement training.

  • tai chi is only slow and fluid when you are learning... tai chi is one of that fastest martial arts ever once you have practiced it.

  • Tai Chi is slow and fluid. Is this still considered Tai Chi? it's fast

  • It's kind of a misconception that all styles of Taiji are slow. they are usually practiced slowly to get the technique, breathing and stance correct in order to get the proper result (i.e. even flow of Qi).

when sped up, the same techniques can cause surprising damage with minimal effort, after all, it is still a martial art.

  • oh my god, some1 that actually knows something. a rarity

  • Chen style Taiji is the original style where all other styles have descended. Chen style taiji the original form called Lao Ja (old frame 78) has mainly slow movments with some explosive punches, kicks and sweeps through it, Pao Choi (cannon fist) is the next form and it is moslty fast. Pushing hands where there are many patterns are firstly down quite slowly but later on more advanced patterns and extemly low difficult stance are down quite fast. Other styles ;Yang,Wu, Sun, Tzu taiji is slow

  • Honestly......taijichuan versatility can be utilized within and among many styles as long as enough trademark postures identify it as such. It truly is as music w/many renditions.........your question is valuable. Thank you. OS.

  • I like peanut butter !!!

  • I like cheese!

  • I recognize some of this but it looks like the principles are slightly off. Pretty good though. Head position and balance are not the best for you to speed it up that fast. Also some of the hand movements don't look forward enough. Who did you learn this from?

  • you dont know you are talking about crap..

only a beginner has to do like what you said- to use all proper stance... at the master level, you dont have to be like that. a master train to master shin..(hard to translate.. spirit).

heard of jin chi shin? go do your homework on that.

the guy in this video might be doing silk jin. a fa jin technique from chen's taichi. powerful deadly but bad for ligaments.

so many text comment master in those days.

  • Is that in Japanese or Chinese? If it's Japanese, I would translate it as:

    Jin: Man

    Chi: Earth

    Shin: Heart

  • i dont know about being able to forget about proper stance at higher levels. but I doubt that is the process.

fa jin does not exist in only chen style of tai chi

no jin is bad for your ligaments if trained properly and performed properly.

    u do your homework

  • style is not purely tai chi, should not be judged on the same standard.

fa jin exists in more then just chen style

never forget the principles and basics

  • I don't think you know what you're talking about. Firstly, this isn't a demonstration of a tai chi form, it's WXD free movement WITH chen tai chi moves.

Secondly, he has mastered Chen style tai chi.

    Thirdly, shhhh...

    haha :p

  • This is not the real WXD since he mixes with others kung fu with it.. Get what i mean?

  • i can do tht XDXDXD

  • pretty nice breaking techniques ;)

  • that was of the chain great!

  • crickey...

  • reminds me of the star wars kid video

  • Old Yang Lu-chan style I think also called Hua chuan or loose boxing.

  • well kinda like chen style except it seems more external

  • Qi everywhere.

  • amazing

  • I would love to study Martial Arts under him.

  • i love this guy's technique. he goes from wind to fire to water to earth it seems. that's how it seems like he moves... like he's mimicating reality in a nice balanced nature.

  • sweet just what ive been looking 4

  • nice display of power marko

  • theres not many people like this ive seen... you can really see the power coming out

  • impressive display of internal power never really seen anything like this. wish i lived in australia

  • this guy can hit hard i felt a tap to the ribs and went down for 3 minutes

  • Impressive, does anybody know a guy named bill shaw?

He founded the han foo wa fighting arts. He used to sell videos. I think it be cool if somebody posted some videos of him. I haven't been able to find him anywhere on the net.

  • that's a man not to mess with

  • nice!

  • That's some heavey shit. I just keep watching it. Impresive power!

  • That's actualy real!

  • i love marko vesse

    mwa!

  • he surely has power.
