Why would you want a 50" plasma? What you really want is 3 21.5" 1920x1080 LCD's That way you get a huge amount of desktop real estate due to the large resolution. That way you have plenty of space to view charts and do some technical analysis. At the end of the day, you could trade on a laptop if you wanted to. When I go away from home I trade on a laptop and I cope find. There is no point in having a great setup if you're a lousy trader and don't know how to trade correctly. 50"? way too far!
@YouDiddntSeeAnything the resolution on those tv's is the same as a small monitor i use one and can fit the same amount on it that i can on six monitors and it is very clear and readable
well i have a different setup. but don't see the point of having really huge screen in front of your eyes and then 4 small ones on the left and right.
My setup has monitors about the same dimension, brand, and color, having that huge screen can be distracting.
With USB to HDMI and or VGA Flatscreens, many of these trading wallies are like Pyramid schemes, and thats a worry there are genuine trader's though and I actually maintain one fellows PC's near here and he clears anything up to $12000/ Month AFTER TAX so this is serious business. And having the desktop area to watch various markets is VERY IMPORTANT.
i think that is just distracting if you have that many screen. I rather have just one or two screen, more than that is like having 25 indicators on a chart.
You can have the best setup in the world. Its means nothing. Ive seen people with $8,000 guitars and they cant play if their life depended on it. All you need is a laptop to trade.
@30percentplusreturns so true about laptop and I use netbook :) which is 10.1" but it's connected to a 23" widescreen monitor while I'm at home so I can do analysis and see more data for a longer time perioud.

@30percentplusreturns agreed bro. Best set up don't gives us bigger paycheck. What matters is the skills and experience.

I would never get that set up because I would be watching movies and playing games all day long and miss all the trades, lol.

Overkill. All you need is a good system & trade plan. With that you could place orders from a cell phone if needed.
But I agree, 2 monitors does help when scalping (I have 3)
