Actually nice travel with Mercedes w123 to see and look for scenic areas; I have Mercedes w123 230 model 1977 in Jordan and like to travel from my city Amman To Aqaba City and Aqaba port.
@AndreyPurtov nah mate, we rebuilt the engine and trans at 175km's or something like that. it was running ok at the time but dad is a nutjob. it ran about 10L/100km on the way over, and the way back!
unfortunately when some workers took out the instrument cluster, they lost the black foam that normally blanks this out. i also wasnt aware the temp gauge was available on 123s, but maybe some early 123s had column shifts and this is where the gear indicator was?
i put the same bumpers on my 230e :)

MAN Driving 146.6 km straight road . I'd die from that. That would be kinda booring! So I would try to spend less time driving there by speeding :P

Hi, you are right. That must be it. Thanks.
I am going to try to put in a temp gauge from a w126 or w124 in my w123 (that is in need of a small restauration).
