I found another great solution that you don't even need to have a PC connection. It's called Avermedia Game Capture HD that everyone is starting to talking about it and be searched on google or youtube. It's plug and play and best of all, you don't need to connect to the PC. Concept is simple as operating a VCR and compact. All you need is the Avermedia box, USB hard drive and all footage are recorded at site without a pc. Some reviews says it’s in Amazon and Newegg already.

@WackieDuck Your best bet would probably be to get an adapter from AV (red/yellow/white) to USB. They only cost a few bucks and are easy to find on eBay or an electronic store.

I have the exact same camera with the cords and all, but I don't know how to hook it up to where it shows up on my camera to record. What setting to you put? Is it output? SORRY I'M A NOOB AT THIS dfshnbjktgdf. OH and also,how would you record a commentary with the gameplay also recording?

@XXShadySquireXX No that's the audio portion of the signal. One of those is left audio, the other is right side audio. Your video signal comes through the yellow cable.

It would probasbly work, but only one side of audio will be recirded (ex: only hear out of left ear) then, put the video into windows movie maker, and make the balance to the direction where it's NOT playing, then it should come out of both ears LOL
