granted, mel was mainly focused on berating her. however, when people use "n*gger" in a heated conversation it normally has negative connotations.
For example, if you were defending a black cardiologist you really admired you probably wouldn't say "hey stop talking about him like that, that n*gger is the best doctor in all of Cleveland"
I think it's pretty apparent from all the tapes that mel unfortunately has some serious issues. probably not someone you'd consider warm and friendly

There's nothing wrong with what Mel said. First of all Mel is right, the way she dresses and if she gets raped she basically was asking for it. Mel has a right to say "nigger" because it's not unconstitutional to exercise his right, SHE however should be prosecuted because she was recording him without his consent, which is an invasion of privacy.
