it's not really complicated it you look at a scale and play around with majors and minors and make some arpeggios sound "dissonant" or "unsettling"

I think it really seems as if the intro of riad n' the bedouins is made up of this song and the other one by schnauss (wherever you are). it sounds just like they put one on top of the other and created the intro that way. (you'll hear it if you listen closely and compare.)

To compare Riad n ... yeah whatever how that last part is spelled (the GnRs song) - and this is quite silly... sure they sound like withother on different part but, they are very VERY diffrent lokkin at 99% of the songs. I'm afraid Schnauss is not gonna be able to win.How can they even think that they can pull this off. O well. this song does sound isolated... I wish I could explain why though... I suppose maybe it's because the different instruments don't really harmonize, their speeds, or anything. The drum's doing its own thing and the synths... everything is trying to get its voice heard. Like hearing Miles Davis and John Coltrane doing two different solos simultaneously.

But the song doesn't seem lonely, it reminds me of high stages of meditation... A strangely isolated joy.
