@ConnollyJordan If the rules were MMA, of course they would, if they were Muay Thai rules, they probably wouldn't. All I'm saying is that the rules are stricter in MMA then they are in Muay Thai. MMA fighters rarely ever sustain permanent damage because the fights are stopped sooner, while in Thailand, a fighter may die occasionally.

negitive lyle6942! you forgot about the dominant wrestlers in th lightweight division. just because you got a black belt in BJJ doesn;t mean you can submit a wrestler in 5 seconds on the ground. alot of ju-jitsu is negated by a strong base and punches,
