Larry, I still have my announcement, but failed to note the date. Had I thought about it, I would have been there with you. With the school closing and now Jim's Barber Shop closed, I suppose we may have to rally around a slice of pizza or a cup of tomato bazel bisque.
smokey, Thank you and I agree. One of my greatest blessings was being a Howe teen in the 1950s. They changed the name again to (Thomas Carr Howe Community High School). When they closed Howe in 1995 the last yearbook has a big picture of a school bus on the front. That sums up the problem for me.

I just attended my great-niece's graduation at Howe ( I believe they call it Howe Academy now) and the graduating class was so small that it was held on that little stage in the auditorium. The ceremony was so dry and lifeless that it felt like they were just "going through the motions". This is not what the future was supposed to be.
